Modified Metro 6R4 with an extended Wheelbase and had a 230hp V8 engine from a Land Rover instead of the V6 that was tuned by JE Motorworks in the UK.
It was actually fairly competitive for the 1988 Season but got disqualified because the Support Truck was too slow to reach the Stage Finish on the First Day.
Despite the Vehicle being pretty obscure it’s actually been featured on the Cover of the AutoSport Magazine for the 7th of January 1988 Edition. Unfortunately I don’t have access to a copy so I’m not sure what’s said about it.
