I have the Thrustmaster TX wheel with updated Firmware. I played the Demo with my wheel and after a in game adjustments it felt great with 900% rotation. Bought the Horizon 2 and using my wheel with the same adjustments everything felt great. But after 2 days my 900% on my wheel feels more like 1800%. In order to take a 90% turn in game I have to turn my wheel almost a complete rotation. Now I have to put the wheel to about 750% in order to make it feel like 900%. And when I quit the game and start it back up it doesnt remember my settings. I have heard a couple other people with this issue and some with not…Unfortunaltley I dont have my copy of FM5 right now to check it out if its the wheel or game…Does anybody have any suggestions??? Thank You
I have noticed that the game either doesn’t remember the settings or it’s creating multiple controller profiles. Have you noticed any issues regarding engine rev sounds sticking at specific RPMs at all?
Yes actual I have heard my car sticking at RPMs…are the two problems related???
BTW the only setting its not remembering are the degrees in rotation…
On the demo & full release, I tried 900°. I just didn’t like the feel. I run the following.
360°
Wheel Sensitivity 2 (hold mode and hit up shift once)
Vibration 90
FFB 85
I haven’t noticed a rev issue with my Thrustmaster TX. I use stock pedals.
you run it at 360? wow too low for horizon
It’s easier when I have to make sudden moves.
On FM5 for FWD I run 540. All other cars except LMP & F1 I run 360. For LMP & F1 I run 270.
540 here for fm5 but fh2 900. especially since fh2 is more 900+ degrees with real life cars vs fm5 actually being race cars with lower dor in real life
but the games are so different with wheel controls, ff, etc that’s for sure
Hey guys,
I did notice this too, especially yesterday when the shifter wasn’t working either.
I’ve found today though that if I plug in my wheel before booting up the Xbox One (also the FH2 not being the last game played) the wheel and the shifter seem to work without fault.
Hope this helps people!
I tried this but when I plugged up my wheel it made the xbox come on. And since Im using a headset plugged into another controler, this made it where I couldnt chat…BUT after I turned everything back off I unpluged the xbox from the power source and plugged it back up and I got my 900% rotation back…Lets hope it works next time I try to play the game
