Thrustmaster TMX Pedal Issue

When both pedals are in their default resting (upright position), gas and throttle reads at 50% input each. Pressing the throttle pedal engages the brake and puts the braking input up to 100%, where pressing the brake turns the braking down to 0%. The throttle never changes no matter what position any of the pedals are in, it stays at 50% input.

I’ve changed settings and tried to change the pedal bindings manually, but it seems both pedals share “Device 1 Axis 2” and when I set one binding it immediately asks me to bind the other (for example if I bind my gas, it’ll ask to bind my brake and vice versa). It seems by default gas is “Device 1: Axis 3” and brake is “Device one: Axis 2”. I don’t have the triple pedal set with the clutch, only the brake and gas. but I don’t know if that’s related.

In the TMX software and input tester, both pedals work absolutely okay, from 0% to 100% on both pedals. Anyone got any ideas?

No idea, I have that exact set, just plugged in and went.

You on Xbox or PC? I’m on xbox

PC unfortunately. I’ve been playing around with some settings and it seems making a entirely new custom controller appears to have sorted it but why the default layout for the default wheel won’t work is beyond me.

At least you got it sorted out, good job!

Are you sure you haven’t set the pedals as “combined”? Either in the wheel properties or in game?
