Hi, bought wheel and Forza yesterday and the wheel works and operates Xbox Home screen and white light is on. However the wheel is not showing in settings > devices? I have tried resetting Xbox, unplugging usb and no joy! V frustrating and advice greatly appreciated?

I assume that you’re using the NXO. It’s one of the bugs that third party wheel are not yet fully compatible. Lucky for you i did find a workaround in xbox forums:
Make sure wheel is plugged into console and Use a xbox one controller navigate to forza 6 or say launch forza motorsports 6. dont push anything else until you reach the first load screen. Once that is up push and hold xbox button on xbox one controller and turn controller OFF. After that press A on your racing wheel this should ask you to select your profile. Turn on the xbox one controller select your profile by pushing A on the controller. You should now be able to use your racing wheel with forza.
After time the screen will dim while using the wheel. Turn on your xbox controller or move the stick on the controller screen will brighten back up. Using controller on xbox app in windows 10 works to brighten screen as well just push A.

If you are playing with a controller also plugged in,
1)make sure the controller is up to date. Go into system settings from the dashboard and update device.
2)Now every time you turn your system on with the controller. Turn the wheel on, while on the dashboard. Use the wheel to navigate to the top left and sign in again using the wheel.
You can now use both in game.
