You’re right, I should just accept that 99% of the players are bad at the game but are so ignorant to it’s flaws that they attack anyone who has a problem with it. And they also complain about the mundane AI because they’re just that bad.
Lol, get off your high horse, acting like you own this game and you’re so great. I feel truly sorry that your life is so terrible you attempt to make yourself feel better by acting like you’re better than everyone else on this game. You’re not. And you’re proving you’re not by trying to change mechanics of cars that shouldn’t be changed just so you can have a car that has best of both worlds.
I have my complaints on this game. I’ll tear this game apart. I don’t think it’s great. But my complaints are shared by 90% of this community and are major items that need to be addressed and ARE being addressed. But not being able to decrease downforce of this car is not a flaw. This is how KTM made the car, and it’s how it should be in the game.
greendale foothills scramble (5 laps)
mono 1,18,5 (i use djs tune here, with own tune i belive would hit under 1,18)
ktm 1,18,4s
tvr cerbera 1,15,6s (tune is shared)
Power and speed is not everything, the cars fantastics stock, it’s fantastic in S1. You don’t need speed, handling comes in to it as well, to fast it’s wrecked. The classic Mini is a perfect example of that.
I kind of get your complaint as FH4 is not really realistic, especially if you put a “Anything goes” blueprint together, only to see your Veneno being beaten or at least matched by some maxed out Ford Focus RS in a straight line, which IMO is simply ridiculous (and in the real world rather impossible without changing so much of the car, that it wouldn’t qualify as a Focus anymore, but that’s something else ) , but then again your complaint is sort of missing the point. The KTM XBow GT4 is, the name says it already, a GT4 class race car. It’s build for downforce and cornering, not for high speed. Rule of the thumb is - if the car has a big wing it will go like stink in the corners but probably will be down on pure straight line speed. That wouldn’t change much by just adjusting the downforce a bit, for the Xbow GT4 to be significantly faster i a straight line, even with an engine swap and whatnot, you will have to remove the wing all together, which would result in a normal Xbow.
Forget races on the Highway, do some tight circuits full of sharp bends instead. Go for Bamburgh Circuit or around the Horizon Arena and it will kick bottoms on those!
I find the Xbow GT4 to be a very cool little car, I really enjoy driving it around the countryside, especially the mountains to the north, but then again - I have my land speed record breaking cars for the highway like the Bugattis, the Koenigseggs and a maxed out F1 GT Longtail, but I’m no speed over all kinda guy, I really do like well handling cars more than just speed monsters, that’s also the reason why I almost never use the F1 GT for just driving around as the car handles very poorly IMO. The Xbow, the Sesto Elemento, the Bac Mono…that’s rather my territory
