With sponsor decals, it’s easier than you think, give it a try, you might suprise yourself. You can NOT share any really good liveries you make if it has other peoples decal work on your car, so it means you have to make your own.
All you need to do, is go into the maker and search and load in the best decal someone else has done, resize it to make it nice and big. You have your TEMPLATE. Now you just copy over the top with the shapes the game gives you to get all your straight edges and curves done. When doing different colours I choose totally different colours to see what I am doing, never use the same colours as the template. You can change to the proper colours later, simple. Before you save your work, always remember to CUT OUT the original posters work as the original posters work takes precidence and it is still there blocking you from sharing.
Plagiarism
Before people start saying it is plagiarism, it isn’t. The original poster of the decal copied the company logo in the first place. When you have the posters logo on your screen, all you have is a picture, it is up to you to chose your own shapes to fill in the required letters or logos you want. You have no idea if you have used any of the same shapes in the same sizes as the original posters logo. That means by defenition that filling it in yourself, Your logo becomes your own individual work because you had to make it yourself.
Rivals annoys me a bit. In FM23 you can carry on lapping once you have beaten a Rival and instantly move on to your next Rival. In FH5, you have to stop lapping and exit to a menu to collect your reward and then re-enter to go into your next Rival. There is also a lack of a ‘Skip Lap’ function. Hopefully this will change in a FH6.
well, yeah, I’d prefer a setting of “do not allow custom horns” so you hear a generic one, most of them are annoying, I always use Warthog, nothing else
The revs bouncing the redline. From Motorsport and enjoying the way it is, then go to horizon just sounds too cartoony for me. Other than that idk, the random traffic getting in your way.
Otherwise beautiful game. Love horizon 3,4,5 with 4 being the best imo.
you can’t suggest random traffic getting in the way is an issue if you played Horizon 3 with its horrible drift zones where half of Australia turns up on the road the moment you start one
Forced participation in Open events for daily or playlist completion when
a) they done diddly squat about the rampant cheating and ramming
b) the “custom racing” tab (where you could possibly select an appropriate class and series) DOES NOT COUNT. Your 2013 dodge viper running an open class race is not a 2013 dodge viper running an open class event unless it is a randomly selected open class event.
Has it been mentioned already? When wanting to do a Tour, I always have to visit either Rallyland or Hot Wheels, then return to Mexico to get the correct Tour screen event.
Yes I’ve used that for a long time, it’s very helpful. However, as I stated. , the screen I get is not the event due next but some other event which doesn’t change with the timer.. I can only get it to show the correct next event by going to and returning from Rallyland or Hot Wheels and then trying again.
that sounds like the connection problem that has been solved (ie, it’s still there), and doing stupid things like quitting the game and restarting it - or what you say, though I’ve not tried that - are needed to make the problem-that’s-been-solved go away
You cant turn it on in replays, so you’re left trying to use it, while dodging other players and traffic at the same time.
The resolution is so ridiculously low.
You have a car that is exhibiting unwanted behavior, you pull up the telemetry, and it tells you nothing. Trying to use it to troubleshoot the cause of an issue is absolutely pointless because of the low resolution (slow update rate). You can’t look at the data and see WHAT is happening, only THAT something happened.
I currently have several cars that will spontaneously lose traction on one or both axles after I release the brakes. The controller will start shaking whether I am traveling in a straight line, trail braking, uphill or downhill. I let off the brake, the controller “chatters” and the car will momentarily lose grip on one or both axles. I figured I had something adjusted wrong, so I pull up the telemetry and start trying to watch it while replicating the issue.
The refresh rate makes this a complete waste of time. Unless you have tires that were positioned by Picasso, you cannot see what is causing anything, and the effects might not even show up consistently- depending on how big the issue is, so you’re left just changing things blindly in the hopes of stumbling upon a solution.
It would be different if Forza physics functioned is a way that is congruent with reality, but that isn’t the case.
