Some interesting choices! You picked my favourite rally car ever, yes, the Xsara (even though I’m thinking kit-car not WRC)! E30 as both road and race cars! I have to go M1 ProCar for the racing version, whenever I publish my own list haha.

Mostly for road cars my guidance was historical significance. Except for the 914/6, that’s 67% (±2) trolling, my other choice being the 912. Come to think of it, I’d edit in the 959 Rally Raid as the Porsche racecar.
For Mazda it came down to the MX5 being the best selling roadster of all time, and I think far more significant. The dorito engine is fun, we all love a good dorito, but it was never a very good idea.
I also just wanted more people to know about Jackie Chan and Mitsubishi.
