The hardest turns for you?

To me, Forza is kind of like Golf right now. Its a great game, but it can be so humbling. Like you said, when you nail a section that is troublesome for you, or string together that perfect lap, you realize the feeling you get is why you play the game. Kind of like sinking a birdie putt…

Final turn on to the old start finish straight at Silverstone gets me every time. Its not getting through cleanly Its the inability to carry good speed with out breaking traction on the exit. You can lose loads of time through wheel spin.

Arena at Silverstone.

The corkscrew at Laguna Seca is, imo, the best place to set up the power-on oversteer/understeer behavior in RWD and AWD cars. That’s where the demons come out.

The corkscrew downhill turns on Bathhurst. It’s not because they are too difficult. It’s because bird brained drivers refuse too slow down and rear end my car. Or they go for a pass that’s bound to fail on one of the most narrow and technical portions of the track.

My absolute nemesis is the double right hander, after the first hairpin on Silverstone GP (leading onto the first straight). I always seem to carry too much speed.

The chicane at the end of the first straight on Yas Marinas. Always too deep or to slow, and very rarely perfect at all.

To those who struggle with the last corner on Mazda Laguna Seca, I personally imagine the apex of the corner being further round than most people. Too many times you see people turning into that corner for too soon and loosing alot of drive on exit.

I think the trick to the final corner on Sebring is allowing the car to roll through the corner. I personally approach my turning point, trail brake into the corner, and normally drop through the gears to keep the nose on the inside, and finally accelerate away about 3 quarters through the corner. I think many people go too slow into that turn, and then have to try balance the acceleration all the way through it.

Yas The hairpin and the corner after the straight (the one after the hairpin)
The hairpin I can deal with but when I’m with drivatars… it’s another story.
The corner after the straight seems to have a magnet for most cars apart from the actual race cars.

I have a really bad one for Road America, the grey bit before turn 11… that just kills me because there is a huge 70ft speed bump there… okay not 70ft but it has a huge bump which is slightly distracting and can really mess me up if i take it wrong.

Turn 5 on the other layout is quite strange to take.
The rumble strip is placed strangely

I’m bringing this thread back
Turn 6 on Road America
That… Blind… Turn… Always get me. Not matter how hard I try cause I don’t have driving line on

No matter the class you need to brake just before youhit the top of the hill, otherwise you dont have any grip on the other side.

The hardest turns for me…any in my RUF CTR2. That car is painted red and called El Auto de Diablo for a reason.

I always struggle with Luffield at silverstone (national and GP), especially with the entrance to it coming out of Brooklands, I always seem to understeer out of position

That new 1st gear corner before turn 11 at Road America, such a ridiculous thing to have on a high speed track and that bump does not make it any easier! It also took me awhile to do Pouhan at Spa properly as well.

Oh man.

Road Atlanta Long after the downhill.

Not a difficult turn, but I tend to deliberately late break and that hill creates too much velocity for my standard late break and cut in close. Always overshooting it, or having to slow down and take ugly curves.

And Bernese, first turn, the leaning right downward bank. Something about my driving style/tuning style has me always understeering on that turn. Everyone, EVERY ONE goes past me there, but depending on the lobby I can usually catch up. Incidentally the uphill portion of that track after the 2nd downhill bank, is one of the turns where I am very fast.

The U-Turn corner of Long Beach. So hard to get a good line through it

My least favourite corner/chicane has to be New York from FM3, the second chicane after leaving the square u-turn section, the first chicane you can take almost flat out, the second I usually find myself braking way way earlier than the suggested braking section and even though I sometimes crawl through there, I’ve still manage to clip a barrier, spin round to be hit multiple times by following cars … endurance race … lap 17 of 19 I think and way out in front and did exactly that … how the controller/360 stayed in the house is beyond me
