Thanks to all of you for a great year in the world of Forza. Without you I wouldn’t be able to write HMA, and with HMA, I would not be as happy as I am.

Happy New Year to you,the staff and all forzaholics…
The 277 Porsche is my fave of HMA 2014… cause german classic (followed by the 74 Celica)
Keep your Standards-still enjoy HMA and RVM!

Jim Hall’s 66 Chaparral 2E,the car is just so cool looking. The down force innovations he came up with are amazing and because race car. Thanks for a great year John!!

John! what an awesome recap! I have to say, its been nice to catch up on several I missed in my temporary absence.
Something of note, I am a big fan of awesome photograpy, I always thought you too really nice casual pics at various car events you went to, but you have REALLY come into your own, your pics this past year have really been amazing, next best thing to actually being there. Keep up the nice work, I wish San Francisio area was ‘local’ I would love you to take pics of my rides! (and if you ever get down this way definitely let me know, I’ll toss you the keys and you can take a spin!)

This was a really REALLY tough choice, I narrowed down my favorite 5, and once there it became a matter of the wonderful stories you share from their owners, TOUGH to pick…
In the end, I had to select Slyther Khan’s 392 Challenger! Not for the obvious reasons of my being a Challenger lover but Jonathan’s story was really amazing, and I remember talking to you offline about this car, I had given up on you ever being able to get back in contact with Jon and getting this story told! Since I had been following it for since before it was published after getting some of the details, and all that anticipation and your great words telling the tale, I am selecting that as my favorite, but who ever wins… that ALL deserve a crack and Best Pick of the Year, I wish I could vote for more than one!

Happy New Years to you and everyone!

Great recap John! was a great pleasure to meet you at the Portland Roadster show, Taboo will always be #1 in my book but my vote has to go to the Chaparral story just an amazing story and very innovative cars.

Hope to see you again at this years show!

Have a great New Year!

First of all, Happy New Year! This was another great read. I would like to name the BMW Art car as favorite, just because it continues a great tradition of art cars. All in all, it was too difficult to choose, so many great cars, so much passion! Anyway, make 2015 a great year!

Happy new year to all the Forza community.
Thanks for another year of HMA full of great cars stories, John.

My vote goes to the 1981 BMW 320i, love the clean style of it.

My choice as the best has to be your friend’s Rat/Hot Rod, the 1929 Ford Model A Coupe. A very nice idea for a Barn Find in FH2 or as the base for a dlc pack!

I think my vote has to go to “Taboo” to see old customs redone to there former glory is very kool, To think when these customs were built they didn’t have computers or apps to show them what it would look like when they are done. To think you took a chance on cutting up a car and hope that it turns out right. Plus the car is a part of timeless history of when custom cars were big.

Great read!

As for best cars, I think the R32 Skyline has my vote. Such a beauty!

Well great recap John but it was between the Subaru and Miranda Rodriguez integra. I have to go with the Integra cause a chick that knows that much about cars is awesome in my book. Thanks John and see ya Tues and Fri on twitch. O.s I sent you a few letters for the new year bud, just wanted u to know I was thinking of you lol.

First of all, happy new year John! May the 2015 bring us many great articles from you. And more clue threads, man I really love them and I’m looking forward to tomorrow for this very reason!
Now about all these wonderful HMA cars. Well, I love Ferrari and I love race cars. So my vote goes to the 458 Challenge Evo. Driving the “standard” car (the '11 Challenge, not the Evoluzione) was a pleasure in Forza Motorsport 4. One of my all time favourites in the R3-Class. Hope you guys at Turn 10 haven’t forgotten about it because I’d really loved to see it back one day.

Tanner Foust and his 2014 Global RallyCross VW Beetle had to be my favorite just because of the fact that I already love vw’s and to see one supped up and ready to hit the track, wow i’d love to experience a ride in something like that. Happy new year, cheers!

Incredible year for HMA. What a collection of stories…
If I were to choose only one, perhaps I would go with “Buy my Volvo”.

I was greatly honored by having the story of my old, beloved car told here.

instantly blurts out Ferrari 360 Spider 'cause it’s a Ferrari

No credits for me; I’d like to finish my unicorn collection with a '69 Camaro instead!

Magnus Walker’s beautiful Porsche is my favorite. As a fellow 911 owner '88 Carrera 3.2, I appreciate the clean lines of Mr. Walker’s work.

Happy New Year to the teams at Turn 10 and Playground Games. I only have two games on my Xbox One…it is all I need. Thank you for some wonderful time driving cars I will likely never get to drive.

The FerRrari Ferrari 360 Spider story is what I enjoyed the most. There’s my vote. Thanks for bringing up all the stories together in the post. I hadn’t checked some of them out. But I don’t think there would be a better story than the Ferrari story because it’s like my dream to get a Ferrari too. Happy new year guys. Take it easy.

Hello Johnny ,first Happy new year to you and all the community,i hope you continu to gift us such wonderfulls stories about cars @ peoples, you have the secret for.
My fav. 2014 Hma car was the Chevy Camaro ,this one with double supercharger(800hp:))

When the 1966 Chaparral 2E (and earlier builds starting four years before) in the hands of Jim Hall and Hap Sharp, it didn’t just bring a new car to the forefront, it revolutionized racing with down force and wings. In the same years, rear-engined cars were brought to scene by the late Sir Jack Brabham, Mickey Thompson, Colin Chapman with Jimmy Clark and Dan Gurney with Lotus/Ford.

It was an exciting time for road and oval racing.

Great Recap John

My favorite HMA 2014 car was the Subaru Wagon, I am Subaru fan and that was just cool how he put his own air suspension.

Thanks
