this car needs so much more recognition. heres the race car version of this already cool car:
I cannot stress how interesting this car is in both its mechanical engineering and its history. First - this car won its class and finished on the outright podium multiple times at an 82-hour long race at the nurburgring.
next, it has a rear engine layout featuring an air cooled V8, the race car sharing its version of that V8 from the Tatra 607 Formula 2 (and almost Formula 1) race cars. This version of the engine used its very strange exhaust to cool the engine.
