Title says it all. Leave a reply saying if you prefer to lead or chase. I am interested to hear your thoughts and opinions. For me it depends what section we are running. If it is on Silverstone National I prefer to lead as I can hold a steady line. However, on Long Beach FD section I prefer to chase as it gives me more confidence into the first corner initiation point because I can see the other person’s line.
Chase the group or another pair from a little further away, watch their lines and try to replicate… but I am still learning. 
occassionally get closer and try to get on their door but only if the person is ok with me trying to do this as still not got the full confidence.
So chase until I get better for sure.
HMMMMM can’t really say which I prefer cause I like to do both but in a room with more than 8 people leading is the best option
If it’s a new track or course that my friends want to show me I’ll chase for awhile but for the most part I like to lead since I can just throw it in as hard as I want and not be afraid of hitting the guy in front of me, I also drift cockpit so unless the leader is holding a good line it can be hard to tandem with them if they’re in my blindspot, I’ll also follow to see how I compare to other drifters speed and angle wise, to see if I should change my to help me go faster or if it’s just fine where it’s at
i always enjoy chasing. its fun adapting to others driving styles on the fly and tapping peoples doors
