So first of all: Thank you for the outstanding FH5! Wow, I’m so thrilled, FH4 did that too, but FH5 is worlds more enthralling!
I have a problem with the screen though. With FH4 it always worked great, but with FH5 it doesn’t work, or the program doesn’t remember the settings:
I have 3 screens, of which the rightmost is the main screen. When I open the game, it goes out on the right one - so far, so good - but when I select “window-mode”, move the window to the middle monitor, then go back to “fullscreen”, it is correctly opened on the 1440p-screen.
Now the problem: If I close the game, the next time I have to do everything from the beginning, because the settings on/from the second (the one in the middle) monitor were NOT saved. This is very annoying in the long run - in FH4 this always worked.
I have the same issue on Forza Horizon 5 on Steam (PC). I like to play in Windowed Mode, but everytime I open the game to start playing (or restart the game), the game auto switched to Fullscreen Mode. And I had to go in the Settings to switch it back to Windowed Mode, this is very annoying.
I can confirm that FH5 does not save the monitor settings in Windows 11 too. I have two monitors, and I have to manually switch monitor every time.
It is not that kind of big problem, yet it is indeed annoying especially with the constant crash of the game.
