So recently I’ve noticed an issue with the 1992 Hoonigan Mazda RX-7 Twerkstallion.
It’s been happening to myself and my friend that I drift with but what happens is that the car or the game will randomly (It normally happens mid transition) will pretty much fully decompress one or two wheels (normally rear) as if the car has gone airborne while all the other wheels are still firmly on the ground.
I don’t know how easy it is to replicate since both of our cars have our own individual tunes on the car but I’ve managed to get decent replay footage of it happening.
But I was wondering if it has happened to anyone else while they have been using the the same or other cars because so far it’s only happened on this car.
Anyway heres the link to video of how it happens.

This particular car has other in race issues, when using assisted braking, after x amount of distance off the starting line, it kinda goes in to a brake on/off mode, regardless of the section of track, seldom getting over 50
That looks like the car is actually bottoming out on that piece of track. Like the bodywork is hitting the ground, look at the skirt.
Well thats the thing, the sideskirt doesn’t touch the ground under full compression unless there is a wave in the track or if it’s going over a ripple strip.
It only bottoms out on track like Rio which are super bumpy but avoid those sorts of tracks anyway.
But it happens pretty much at random and not just to myself, since this post it’s probably happened to myself a good 20+ times but it doesn’t seem to matter what track it is, it will still do it but I keep on forgetting to save the replays since I mostly play late at night (and forget to save it) and the fact you can only save 10 replays which don’t save properly half of the time.
