Most of the challenges I’ve tried so far are ‘meh’ at best. but some are utter donkey do-do !
I gave up on the maze one & the tunnel one, although the latter one is do-able, the maze one is a joke (a bad one !)
The only one that I like so far is the hole in one challenge.
For most of the ones where you have to get to the destination, there’s no point in having the obstacles, coz you can just drive where you want to.
My first impression: I don’t like it. At least not the challenges I’ve seen earlier today. To kiddy /arcade style for my taste.
Not for me, but please enjoy!
A lot I played for about two hours and got one old car. Next one is in around one hour. All trophies could around ten hours, depends on the points you get.
You don’t NEED the cars locked behind this stuff.
Why are you playing this game if you don’t like playing it?
Maybe iRacing would be more your thing if you don’t like the fun side of things that FH4 is about?
Why are you complaining when this new game mode is free?
Why are you complaining when the cars locked behind this game mode are free?
You are so lazy, expecting to get new cars without having to do work for them.
Lol - have to say the best thing about this update was watching Waznewz youtube video of playing it (sorry Waz if you read this). The pure disgust as he was making his way up a tower and continually falling off, followed by a drift challenge where someone had stuck obstacles in the middle of the road, had me in tears.
I should say I have no problem with them locking content behind a new game mode - I just expect, free or not, that the idea has got through some sort of quality testing. Locking cars behind Eliminator, for example, was fine as, although not really my thing, it’s relatively well constructed. Currently, this mode is a mess.
The thing is, everything they’ve ever locked cars behind in the game has been the same - an unchallenging dull chore. Super 7 continues that. Find a “challenge” that gives high influence, and do it over and over and over again until you’ve unlocked the cars.
Thanks for the suggestion above, the creator is shesonesie, slightly different spelling with an extra e. I was only getting 2750 rather than 2800, but still much better than doing random ones. It took me 3 hours to get the 2 cars, would have been quicker with that one from the start.
My first reaction when I heard about the new game mode was that people are just going to try to create really hard challenges to troll the people who just want to get the new cars ASAP.
Yes, some will do that. Others will simply churn out simple events for clicks. Finding actual good quality events will be near impossible. I’m sure there are some in there but I’m yet to find an event which would rate higher than 5/6 out of 10.
I think really hard ones will just get kicked out of Super 7, most seem to be so easy that you could watch a movie while doing them.
What determines the influence? Some seem to give 200 or not much more, some 2000 or so, I can’t see any reason for it? I’m just doing one over and over again that gives 1936 each time for under 50 secs of playing time (by showyoregano852). I’ve been liking high influence ones, and disliking low influence ones, to try to increase the occurrence of high influence ones.
I made one myself that is fairly hard to do, I’ve even failed it a couple of times myself, but it only gives 200 influence, so what is the point?
I tried some from the new tab but they all gave very low influence.
What I read elsewhere was that ones with fewer than ten players give 5200. But I can’t independently verify that’s true. Most of the ‘new’ ones I did though, did give me 5200 even if they were very short and simple.
I put a couple up earlier which were deliberately very short and easy if that helps anyone as well. (As well as a harder one, which is a jump at Mam Tor as I wanted to see what I could get it if I put a ramp in.)
I tried some from the new tab and got very little influence. I’ve come to the conclusion you get more influence for doing ones that have a lower successful completion rate, which is why I created my “not easy” one, in the hope that it might become a high influence challenge. I’ve definitely in general got more influence for ones that I sometimes fail, e.g. the jump by shesonesie that was worth 2750, you can fail without doing anything obviously wrong, the car can sometimes just not quite launch off the ramp perfectly and you might land a little short.
If I’m right, and you do get more influence for harder ones, they should have a sort feature that lets you choose to do the challenges that have the lowest successful completion rate. That would actually be enjoyable, trying to do something that people find hard, provided it’s not just because of the stupid framerate bugs.
On my new tab, every one of them has tens of thousands of plays and likes. The tabs seem to be bugged, it can be a struggle to find Big Loopy Loop, as it can be on different tabs, or not on any of the tabs.
