One suggestion for the next forza game is the ability to add Weight to a vehicle so as to compete in a certain car class. For example, I love the Shelby gt500, I often race it in “B” class so as to race against the Camaro and challenger and other muscle cars in the same class. I try to keep the car reasonability stock, but due to the performance level of the car it’s already max out in stock form at B600. I can’t even add on performance tires to give it better grip. So I thought one way to cure this is to add weight so to keep it in the B class. Also not just that, but how about the ability to transfer weight or add weight from the front of the car to the back or even the middle to improve handling.
There’s a game features wishlist; use it wisely.
I wish the “wish list” was put in blackhole know as the wish list.
You have change your title so it dont sound like a wishlist item. Its a shame too as it would be intresting thread, but it will be lock.
In all fairness there is no feature wish list for FM6. It does state very clearly in the topic titles that the wish lists are all for FM5 - and it’s as clear as day FM5 has now been left to its own devices.
I think OP is very much entitled to a new post.
No point locking a thread in a forum with very little activity - locking threads all the time is sending people away. And there’s not too many regular users to send away.
I’m wondering if there will be a forza 6. I’ve gotten 8 surveys for forza 5 from Microsoft. they are specific to. like did I like drive a tard, or did I like the tracks. I really just see turn ten being horizon from now on. I mean forza 5 we got less cars less tracks less series races. I mean id like to race a hatchback in a series specific to it. not a hatch back series where a 350z can be in it to. I got my hopes with project cars. I mean if your going to laser scan tracks and cars. guess what you do more then 7 tracks and you scan every cars engine bay and truck . I mean come on your checking out that car in vista and you want to see that engine and nope you can’t, but you can turn on the f ing headlights.
There will be a Forza 6.
Forza 5 was the first game on the new console which is why there was less content.
The content will build up over the next few releases to somewhere near Forza 4 levels.
Will it be the game the hardcore fans are after? Time will tell.
i think they fully well know what we want
we want forza 4 with the forza 5 drive model on the xbox one
thats pretty much it
they know what we dont want… its called forza 5
i know it feels like turn 10 have put their heads in the sand but its not like as if they want this backlash again
That’s a great idea however I would also like them to take out the tuning or better describe how to use it. After hours of YouTube videos, I have had to result to having a veteran explain it to me cause it’s so confusing. Because of the tuning forza 4 takes the reward for the best game. Turn 10 can fix it by taking tuning out or making it easier to understand.
You better off playing horizon games. Most forza motorsport fans want more in depth tuning.
Take out tuning? That is about the only feature left in the game?!?!
If you can’t understand it, the text boxes at the side on the tuning menu give pretty accurate details as to what each thing does - and these and other forums are a wealth of information when you ask the right people the right question. Worm’s even done a guide on here.
Not every game has to be made so a three year old can pick up and play.
yep the tuning in Forza 4/5 is about right
its not actually accurate but it is a console game so i dont know how you go about ‘explaining’ it more
pop up balloons? press X for tech details?
i think other games have actually included a book often more than 100 pages but realisitically, who would read it
i’m in two minds about this… i suppose you can turn down the difficultly so you can win in stock cars
but there are some instances you really have to tune and fully understand how this works to win a race because he AI drives cars that are faster than yours
forza 5 is in some ways, not as casual as it tries to be
I think Forza 5 is as casual as you could possibly want it to be.
Struggling to win? Tone down the difficulty. Still can’t win? Add assists until you do win.
With difficulty on easiest, a assists on, you barely even have to steer, don’t have to brake, and can win.
That’s pretty casual.
Unfortunately, It is. And that could be a general statement as well, not necessarily restricted to driving assists or AI difficulty.
In all honesty, SatNite, I doubt it. But, somehow, I still hope that the feedback we gave was taken into consideration. So many things on the table (from sim features to drivers animations…)
I’m curious to see what (and how) Turn 10 will deliver.
I still think they can add some hardcore stuff in a way that gives us choice. eg some games have qualifying in single player but you can choose to have short race wekeends without qual or you can choose to skip and start at the back.
I don’t think they will tackle PCars head on though and I don’t think it would be a good move with regards to financial sustainability. I think if we want both games to flourish we need to accept one will be sim and will hopefully be a successful sim and therefore be able to invest in its future and the other will be more laid back and flourish in that market segment.
The XOne market needs more consoles out there before we can see racing games go head to head and both thrive.
all they have to do is keep the driving model and tuning of forza 5 into forza 6
fix the bugs of course
look, the more i play forza 5 the more i realise that underneath the decontented shell is a REAL SOLID GAME
the drive model is the best there is on console
i predict nothing from the competition will come close to the forza 5 model any time soon, it is that good
i do find the AI overly aggressive but drive defensively and youre good
this is a real shame as people want to hate the game (for fair reasons too) but Forza 5 is built on a real solid foundation… pity they did not finish building the house
of course i play simulation everything all aids off manual no race line or any of that crap
anything lesser is just mario kart
Ironically - Mario Kart is morer - with 32 tracks. 32.
