I noted this on Forza Horizon 5’s accessibility suggestions, and I’ll try to note it here, too.
Radio stations should have captions for the speech segments, as they can give interesting details about the world, the cars, the festival or the music, immersing the player to the world. However, if the player’s hearing or their hearing comprehension isn’t good, things can sound muddy amidst all the sounds. Especially, if player’s native language isn’t English or they are playing a localized version, it might be hard to understand what the DJs are saying. Therefore, I feel captions for the DJs speech could be a great addition as an accessibility option, and it’d be great if these are separate captions you could turn on or off. In Forza Horizon 5, everything else was subtitled and had even context clues for an accessibility option, but none of the Horizon games has featured captions for DJs.
