Should have been a 2011 wrx saloon gifted to you in game for playing the demo, not necessarily completing it!
I received mine yesterday

Got mine on day one, it’s probably my most used car so far. Been doing lots of just hooning through lavender fields sideways. lol
I’m a big Evo fan, but this car is just so nippy. You can throw it round with gay abandon and usually not even kill your little avatar man.

Can’t believe we’re not allowed to use that word. lol.
Must have been some right tools on these boards in times gone by.

Odd issue.

  • I played the Forza Horizon 2 Demo on Xbox One.
  • I had the Reward Car message appear in my in-game messages on Xbox One.
  • Only now the Reward Car is not in my garage and the message is no longer in my inbox (though all the Drivatar rewards messages are).

Any idea where that 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi went and what would cause it to disappear?

Should I just play the demo again?

Is there a better place to post this message?

Did you click on the message to redeem it?

Also I’m pretty sure you had to play the demo before the game released to get the car, so going back wouldn’t help.

I’m pretty sure I clicked on it.

When the message first popped up at the beginning of the month, it was there in the social area. In the same part of the menu that the Drivatar rewards appear in.

I never actually drove the car, but was checking achievement progress and realized that it wasn’t in my garage and that the message awarding the car was also no longer there.

All trace of it vanished.

You have 30 days from the day they appear in your inbox to redeem any and all gift messages. After 30 days he messages will disappear forever and Turn10 does not resend them. If you didn’t redeem the message you’re out of luck.

I don’t recall if you had to play the Demo before launch or before 10/31/2014 to get the car. In any case, it’s a once per gamertag message.

I don’t remember exactly but is it one which you have to purchase for free from the Marketplace and then purchase for free from the Auto Show?

Your 30 days has not expired yet, so you’ve still got a chance to get it.

No. It is a 2011 WRX STI. It is received as a gift message. When you collect it from the message it is put straight into your garage.

In all honesty it’s not really a big deal, the car costs only 28.800 CR so 1 rivals event and a race, or a win on a Bounty Challenge Head to Head will pay for 3 of them.

Never got mine, got the message saying I’d been awarded it, it wouldn’t download, kept saying there was an error then the message disappeared, no to fussed tbh. With regards to buying it I’m sure it’s not a model that’s actually in the autoshow?!?

It is just a plain stock 2011 Subaru WRX STI. No special paint or anything. It’s exactly the same as buying it from the autoshow.

  1. My guess is that as always the gift cars/gifts have 30 days to be redeemed and you’ve missed out.
  2. It doesn’t go straight into your garage, you need to redeem it from the message center.

Sadly, you were late. As far I can remember, you had to get the full game by October 31 to get the Subaru.

As has been mentioned before it’s only about 32k CR, so getting it won’t break the bank.
