I’ve been struggling for about 2 weeks to set up my config for the best steering. Nothing works apparently. Tried many different settings, some from the internet, some I tried adjusting myself, nothing.
I have got a Myria steering wheel, 270 degrees rotation. +/- shifter, pedals w/o clutch. Nothing works.
It either steers likes 5 degrees then goes at maximum, or goes instantly at maximum. When speeding, it barely steers. I’m starting to lose it to be fair.
EDIT: the car also doesn’t go in a straight line, tends to go left a bit.
From WHEEL, get into the ADVANCED menu and set the wheel (last available entry, usually, in the Advanced menu) to 270 degrees. It may be defaulting to 900 degrees which is why you can barely turn at all.
Here are my settings with the G290 if they’ll help? Horizon with a wheel in general isn’t the best, the game just isn’t set up for it really compared to others (dirt 2, Forza motorsport etc…). Good luck though! I only really use mine for cruising around and mess around races. If I want to be competitive the controller will be the best bet.
