Anyone fancy for multiplayer racing?

Idea is simply: Custom Adventure, 3 to 5 races with circuits set to 5 laps (unless it’s Marathon or Goliath), sometimes custom PI/class/model/etc. for cars, no OP cars.

This week it will be 4 races (3 dirt, 1 road) in A800 cars.
Tracks:

  1. Dervent Reservoir Trail
  2. Highland Farm Scramble
  3. Tarn Hows Scramble
  4. Princes Street Gardens Circuit
    Car class: A800, no OP (e.g. TZ2, shelby, bubble or anything BS-like, etc.)
    Time: 18:00 GMT+0 (London time) - 10 min to let everyone join - first event at 18:10

I would say we need at least 6 people interested to make this work. You can register here or send me a message via XBOX app, but I would prefer here. We have 12 places for each event.
So if at 17:00 GMT+0 there will be not enough people, we won’t do it.

Possibly it will be weekly event. Depends on how many people will be interested.

I have no experience in hosting custom adventures or convoys, so it may not work today, but I’m optimist :slight_smile:

PS. If anyone wonders what SAHCAR is → stay at home custom adventure racing. Sponsor is temporary.

Think you need to confirm the banned car list - no Boneshaker, Shelby Daytona, Ford Roadster, Bubbletop, TZ2 or GT40?

Yes.
Include also Chevy Nova FE and Alfa 33. Can’t remember others.

Great, last time I tried I was 1st/3rd/1st and very far from winning :smiley: Forum team could do much better :wink:

I thought it would be free-for-all actually. Not sure if you can do that in convoys though.

Secondly, I wanted to do FFA, not teams. I will need to learn how to do this.

Turtle flipping his car several metres in the air made me laugh so much I promptly missed a checkpoint in that last race.

Thanks for organising Zip - let’s see if between us we can work out how to do custom FFA next time!

LOL, I have normal Quattro ready but it wasn’t there so I chose CC car which looked like a good idea in that moment :smiley:

And overall, dirt is not for me. I can’t drive it too much :frowning:

My car got mysteriously glued on FNs standing Focus during the Princess Garden race. He rolled backwards and I got dragged along into the wall.
And in the trial it felt like everyone was lagging over the place. The AI, all of you.
I tried racing next to you Jezza and it seemed as if I was constantly crashing into you and vice versa.

Kind of messy but it was quite fun.

Yeah not sure what happened there, I mostly tried to keep out of the way but I was occasionally moving so I didn’t get kicked for idle. Was just hanging around to do the Trial as promised.

After I saw it was teams and the three best players were all on one team, the result of the thing was a foregone conclusion pretty much.

The AI in the Trial is crazy for sure, psychotic at times, cheats like hell (warp speed when it feels like) and has a force field around it to make you lose control. But that’s Forza eh.

I don’t know how Rayne and Jezza was driving, but I was pushing to be first and not for the team.
However, I did forget that it is 5 laps and did 360 before finish line at 3rd lap in second race.

Was Escort OP? It is my go to car in ranked. Was planning to use EVO from rivals, but couldn’t remember if that was '04 or '06, so switched quickly to Escort.

Did quick search for custom adventure FFA and I have nothing. Either got topics about custom adventure, FFA or how bad team adventure is.

The trial actually becomes a lot harder when the whole team is relatively competent (not to win overall but to individually do well). Race 1 - you got “force field” pushed past a checkpoint when overtaking an AI in front of me. I then missed one myself by trying to give Turtle as much space as possible when racing side by side. Race 2 - I was getting some slowdown/speed up issues when we were racing next to each other which stopped when you dropped out. Race 3 - I missed a checkpoint because I was (a) laughing at Turtle’s flying Fiesta and (b) tried not to hit the back of Ziperr when he slowed down more than I would have done for a hairpin.

All good fun!

Yeah, sorry for not so clean racing racing but I have two problems. My car wasn’t perfect and dirt is not my discipline and the second one is I use 1st person camera (not cockpit) and still don’t know how to avoid every collision without mirrors (hope for mirrors in next Forza). I use back viewing sometimes and minimap for sure. For normal road racing I use clean racing lines so it’s usually OK.
