I was in my garage last night checking out the few cars that I have so far and checked to see how many miles I had put on the Ferrari I had been driving. I was surprised to see I had already driven it 549 miles and for almost 7.5 hours! Felt a bit high since I haven’t played the game too much, I didn’t think there was any way I could have put that much time on the one car. I drove around for a few more minutes and checked again. 625 miles and a little over 9 hours on the car! My average speed was around 70 mph, which seemed legit. I think what’s happening is the game registers distance based on average speed and time driven, however it seems that the time driven is being based on the in game clock cycle, which is obviously accelerated for day/night, rather than real world time. Anybody else noticed this? I checked on another car and it was affecting that too. I checked my global stats and it showed around 170 miles driven, which seems fairly reasonable.
I had a different statistics bug.
In the loading screen it showed me two stats: “Average Collisions per Race” and “Max Collisions in a Race”.
For some reason the average value was way higher than the max value, which is kind of impossible.
Now I have been doing a lot of rivals for a time and my assumption is that the rival races somewhat bug this statistic.
it has my longest jump/air as 29,839.3ft
thats around 5.6 miles…
Interestingly the trip odometer in most cars is correct. I did notice in the Lotus 2eleven that the trip works but the regular odometer doesn’t. There was a similar bug in Motorsport 5 where the regular odometer would always just mirror the trip odometer instead of the full mileage of the car
Hehe, I’ve got a '97 Honda Civic with a history showing roughly 5000 miles in about 78 hours. Just noticed it this afternoon. Considering I had bought the car less than 24 real world hours prior, and probably only driven it for a few hours total… Yeah, no.
I haven’t found this to be a problem with any of my other cars though. Not yet anyway. lol.
The only thing I can think of is that I may have triggered the glitch when sliding around one of the festival hubs, seeing what I could come up with for photos:
Lots of wheel spin, donuts and burnt rubber for about 15 minutes straight. I haven’t really abused my other cars like that, and they all show proper history stats.
This happened to me too. It’s driving me crazy and I hope they fix it soon.
