A little bit about myself and my Forza carrer. I am 25, married, have one son, so naturally I do not get to play as often as I like. I started Forza Motorsport back on FM1 in like March 2007. I enjoy painting mostly and I am a fair racer. I have painted for the Tuning Garages Redline Tuning (FM2-FM3) and AtlanticLS (FM3-present). My skills and ever not evolving mind limit me to replica paints. I’ve tried originals and failed miserably.
Now to what my time in the livery editor brings:
Forza Motorsport 2 cover car Fuel Your Fantasy! I have to admit I never cared for this car in FM2. Being that FM2 was my favorite in the franchise I decided to replicate this. It has a nostalgic feeling attached to it, a feeling of a time when the Auction House ruled, Tuning Garages employed “sellers” to get their works out to the public, a time I sorely miss.
OPERA S2000 replica- I took some creative license with this one due to some features that are different between the CR and the real life car.
Lotus Exige V6 cup- All colors/stripe combos available just ask!
Lotus Exige V6 cup R- A simple, yet rewarding paint!
Francois Cevert’s 1973 Tyrrell 006 (Ferrari 312T2)- I took some creative license creating this in honor of the F1 racer. This is the car that Cevert was martyred in at Watkins Glen in 1973 battling for pole position nonetheless.
Roush/Shelby SR-71 Collaboration- I used metallics on this so it looks great in game!
Auto Select Yellow Shark (WIP)- yes a car I have painted in every Forza since FM2, but its been on the backburner since day 2 of FM5.
As always Stanman, very good stuff. The Opera design is quite nice as is the Tyrrel car. That being said my favorite thing you managed to do, was fit the Union Jack on the side of the Lotus’s wing. Great job here mate.
Diesel it will be up in the next 15 min just search V6 Cup
Thanks for the kind words guys! one of these days I will post a pic of the vinyl group that makes the flag on the spoiler of the lotus and watch you all shake your heads!
Finished another paint tonight, a replica of the TRD GT86, I could not find pics of the hood so I just added a TRD logo. Although seeing a small portion of what was on the hood I don’t know if I would like to clearly see what it is, looks wicked. The silver is metallic and black is carbon fiber. You can find this by searching my GT or TRD GT86 replica. Thanks!
