Spring #Forzathon Shop, Festival Playlist events and rewards through October 24

Yep, and it was always among fastest Drivatars.

The redux Showcase against the hoover car is not easy, even in Expert mode, which is how I resolved to completed it.

Finished the trial and games on the first try but I think the long loop might be my most favorite community race I’ve done. Wow it was a lot of fun. Love love loved it!

Let me guess; whoever made the Broadway Village course in the Developer Championship intended it to be A class rally cars.

The long loop was fun, and over before I was expecting it to be. The second race, Home run circuit, I think it was called; I’ve tried a couple of times to get a course going on that loop, but it never really worked out for me.

Managed to combo the Forzathon with the McLaren cup and the Old Blighty. My worst race was the Edinburgh circuit, which was predicable. I came in 3rd, but it was a worth while sacrifice to get my 3 slingshot skills. I won the rest easily.

And I’m pretty much done for the week.

Oh yeah; and I almost forgot, that showcase. I narrowly edged out the hovercraft, but only because he was completely blocking my path during two passing opportunities. I’m pretty sure that never happens in the original showcase.

And I think I might have done better overall, if we were allowed to use our own tunes.

I thought it was good that you could actually overtake the hovercraft for a change.

Yeah, that was new.

The same happened to me with the hovercraft blocking at probably the same two spots. The one nearest end was the worst as the vehicle chosen was too slow to pass just in front of the hovercraft and thus you had to brake and lose momentum and pass behind it. If I had lost that after leading most of the way I wouldn’t have been happy.

Heh all,

I created a sprint race for easy drafting and slingshot skills.

Please note that this is NOT one of those short races. It’s 4 miles long and can be used with the Senna.

I’m getting a bit tired of all the high class weekly events. All the championships this week are S1 or S2, same for playground games and the showcase remix. At least the trial is A class this time (but unfortunately cross country).

Fast cars are cool and all, but sometimes it’s nice to race lower class vehicles.

I agree. One thing you can do is lower every race by almost a full class.
For the McLaren race I upgraded my 600LT to 901, which put all my opponents in the 885-915 range,

I would agree with this - mainly because I’m terrible at the game and whichever S2 unbeatable drivatar starts at the front always just seems to vanish instantly into the distance with little chance to catch them.

But again, probably more my fault than anything. I do like a lower-level race though, my Holden Sandman (with an Ecto-1 livery) is my pride and joy for slow races.

I agree. There is no doubt that the S2 class (exactly, the hypercars belonging to this class) is popular, but it is tired to continue this.
And rain S2 road racing. Or S2 street scene. I can win them However, the act of chasing their tail lamps with the ultimate grip in the S2 class, where the cheats of drivatars are intense, is not so much fun.
The only thing I think of every time I see them turning corners with the same speed and grip as a dry road is just unfairness.

Bugatti Divo has already been confirmed, and the presence of other high performance cars has been confirmed in the hints issued by PG. In other words, the next series of events will be just hypercars and S2 class again.
Is this game Asphalt Horizon or Drive Club Horizon?

This. Very much this.
It is honestly beyond me why they come up with these challenges that are not fun at all.

The first race of the developers series is terrible. The only reason I ended up in first place is because the drivatars were actually quite bad at the race and the first car drove into a wall right before the straight up to the finish. I tried different cars, different tunes. None worked in a way that made the race enjoyable. I’m sure it would’ve been fun in a Subaru Impreza or something similar, especially with the short bit of offroad. A grid of only Isettas would’ve been more fun.
The other two of the developers championship were slightly better, but on one I still ended up with two cars not even in sight until the rubber banding kicked in and I overtook them 2 corners before the finish line.

The other championships were actually fine, though not memorable.

same thing here. and the co op/ online stuff ether has issue with networking or glitch.
some hoe the play ground games part. after the start of it. king. right after that the other side one. with out going any further

There must have been a mix-up,
we totally deserved to get the McLaren Cup’s wet city streets as the S2 Trial this week.

If anyone is having trouble with PR Stunt Nether End Speed Zone, I set a new PB with the Jeep Trailcat, using my S1 tune “House Jumper”. Just start from the west side of the zone near a tree and straight line the first part.

I set a new PB myself in a P1 with rally tires no less lol

Hi

Can someone explain to me what the requirements are/how to do the online adventure please?

Do you literally just have to get a rank OR do you have to get to a specific rank? Rather know this before to be prepared. Thanks guys!

Assuming that you meet the online play requirements, which I believe is to reach Level 20 and to complete a certain number of activities in four different seasons, then you should be able to go into the menu screen (while in Free Roam) and see some available options under the “Online Adventure” tab. If you click on “Ranked Adventure” and you see one or more of its sub menus grayed/locked, then you’ll need to unlock that activity by playing its corresponding “Quickplay Adventure” (available in the previous menu) until you reach “Level 3” for it.

When you’re able to unlock the Ranked Adventure category that you want, you’ll need to do 10 races in that category before you receive a “League Rating”. In other words, you’ll automatically be ranked after doing that, and you’ll also have that “Online Adventure” activity completed for both your Series and Seasonal playlists. When the next series is released (we’re currently on Series 14 and will be moving to Series 15 on Thursday), you’ll only need to do 1 ranked race per the category that you previously qualified for in order to meet the “Online Adventure” playlist requirement going forward.

Just so you’re aware, it will probably take you several hours to complete 10 ranked races in order to receive your League Rating because some of the race playlists are comprised of 5 separate races instead of 3. The lowest league that you can be assigned is League 20, so there really isn’t much to prepare for other than to give yourself enough time to get it done before we switch to Series 15.

As a final thought, expect to see some very aggressive driving from people during ranked races. It is what it is, which is why I don’t do ranked racing outside of the Playlist requirement.

HTH and Good Luck!
