Forza Horizon has a rich competitive community but the commentators are forced to stream POV’s for events. Being able to spectate your friend’s activities or just having a spectate mode for private lobbies would create a much better environment for the competitive community. For example; Logitech would probably love to run their LMGC events on Forza Horizon if there was a spectate mode to stream the finals. I think in general it would allow sponsors to better harness Horizon’s player base. “If you build it they will come” sort of idea.
It will help us share experiences, draw in events to keep players busy, and enrich the community in ways we haven’t seen before. As someone who’s waiting for the next good racing game to come out. The niche on consoles is wide open. I feel like it’d be a missed opportunity to not add spectate mode in the wake of Motorsport’s demise.
