thanks

Here’s an image of the vendor. Note the day countdown in the upper right. “Once you buy this car you won’t be able to buy it again” from the Specialty Vendor (I think), according to Mechberg in the livestream.

I don’t know why but I bought a specialty car and it appear in my garage. I went back and it tells me I bought it

Cool. Kinda reminds me of the used market in some of the GT games, which was a feature I rather liked.

i like it…plus it looks like you can put fender flares on the mx5 now(:

That’s the MX-5 NC Cup Car, isn’t it?

In the picture, that is the 2010 Mazda MX-5 Super20 in all of its Rotary-powered goodness.

And I must say, the R33 LM is gorgeous. I can’t wait to drive it; hopefully it is not too hard to unlock

yeah… the super20 doesnt have a rotary its just the I4 from the miata with a supercharger

Does any one know if cars from the full announced car list will be in the specialty dealer in the future weeks or will the specialty dealer only include new cars to the game? Just wondering if they are keeping cars from us that has been announced as in the game that is inaccessible at launch

If you look at MotorWorldHype’s Car List Scrolling video, compare the list of cars that are missing from that video to the confirmed car list. I can almost guarantee that at least a few of those missing are in the specialty dealer (as all 3 cars in ManteoMax’s photo were not present in the MWH video: the Falcon, MX-5 Super20 and R33 LM).

If these upgraded cars have stats or parts unavailable on the game otherwise and are available to run the leaderboards…think I’m going to hold off on this game until I hear more.

Exactly! Why should I pay more for a car I can build and tune myself. Mind you, I’m no expert tuner, but I think I can do a great job at matching the stuff in the SD showcase. So yeah, they do need to explain what is making these cars so special and unique to warrant the prices they’re asking for. If it’s just expert tuning, I’d beg the differ, but if they’re using some exclusive upgrade parts available only to the studio, then we truly have something special here, else it simply ain’t!

I have Just watched that video and there is a lot of cars missing from the announcement list, i really hope this isn’t how they are going to do things, it would really suck if we have to wait for cars to come in the specialty dealer section that should already be available at launch, but when i think about it they can not have missing cars being released through the specialty dealer as they state 700+ on launch and if we have to wait for launch announced cars to come in there in the coming weeks its basically false advertising and im pretty sure t10 aren’t that stupid

This may be a dumb question, but do we need to make sure to buy any and everything that pops up here?

Kinda sounds like if we don’t buy them, they won’t be available to purchase down the road?
