Soooo much potential

Okay, most of you guys know this, but there are several off-road/rally cars that can either be made to look like rally cars and cars that are rallied out stock (example, MG, Rally Fighter) but yet no off-road tracks, why? The game has so much potential for greatness, it would especially be a great way to compete with the new game DiRT RALLY, but yet, they just leave the cars sitting there with so much potential, and with these new racing games coming out soon or are out right now, Forza Motorsport 6 needs to step up their game, the game has so much potential, more lobbies, more maps, more options, more growth, but yet, they are blind to it, I think if they added rally cars to Forza Motorsport 6 it would be a MASSIVE step up, what do you think? Should Forza Motorsport 6 be unlocked to its full potential?

Again ironic that you post this thread while posting earlier that mods should lock and clean up the forums even though this belongs in the wish list thread

Forgot about that pinned topic, sorry

I guess the question is should it be in the Forza Motorsport wishlist or the Forza Horizon wishlist?

The MG isn’t rally out of stock, it’s the homologated version. A lot of cars are the homologated version of the group B rally cars :

1982 Lancia Rally 037 Stradale (tipo 151)
1983 Audi Sport Quattro S1
1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16
1984 Ferrari 288 GTO (was planned for group B homologation but never raced due to regulation changes and got changed to a sports car instead)
1985 Ford RS200 Evolution
1986 Lancia Delta S4 “Stradale”
1986 MG Metro 6R4 “Clubman”

For the earlier group 4 rally there are a few homologated rally cars as well :

1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale (Tipo 829)
1980 Abarth Fiat 131 Rally
1980 Renault 5 Turbo

I think the only car in the game (until 1990, don’t know about newer cars) that really has the rally specs is this one (group 4 rally) :

1968 Lancia Fulvia Coupé Rallye 1.6 HF (Tipo 818.540)

This kind of topic is why there is a wish list thread.
You think Forza should include Rally, disregard racing rules and ignore what everyone else would like to see in the game.
Personally, I don’t believe Forza needs to “step up their game” at all. The game is always evolving and Forza considers the feedback into the direction they decide to take the game. Case in point, remove the sticky grass. That’s what people called for in FM4, They asked for night racing and dynamic weather, and the developers made it happen. Honestly, the rally thing is a party Iof Forza Horizon, as it should be. The vision for Forza appears to be mainly circuit raceing. It’s possible that we might see things like drag racing and car clubs return for FM7, but I doubt seriously that the Developers will spend any time adding rally , when it is best suited to Horizon & Horizon 2.
Forzamotorsport if the premiere console racing game. It covers many tracks and many countries. The Forza team have a vision for FM 6 and FM7. We won’t know exactly what that entails until they are prepared to reveal it.
For someone with such limited exposure to the Forza franchise, you sure do make an awful lot of demands. You want to be accepted into the community even though all you care about is playing rage. Not only do you want to be accepted, you’re u have some misguided sense of entitlement when it comes to the rules. The rules you demand turn 10 stops penalizing.
No, in a very short time, you have come across as a know it all troll. Trolls tend to detract from the gameplay by always finding fault, seriously, you been to lighten up, take a step back approach the community as the newb you are. You have no right to demand anything from forum members. Have you tried relaxing and trying to actually play more than just Tag?
I do not know your angle, but starting off your forum career making demands on a developer team that is already cranking out two solid Motorsport games, loaded with more cars, tracks and events than any other console game on the market.
Respect what they do, rather than jumping on them from the start. You might just learn something.
