Some Mixtape song needs re-edit

Now, I’m not sure if you are like me, but as the new radio station announced, with some banger from past Horizon games, who doesn’t want fo have a listen? Me too. PG Games have did a great job bringing some old banger back for the anniversary, however I thought it’s worth mentioned that some song have broken “loop attempts”, in order to keep up with the gameplay length, usually…

List:

Language - Porter Robinson (to me, one of the song with the most awkwardness, it have a bit off “race start build up”, “finish celebration”, and not connected “loop attempts”)

All FH4 song (minus Sunrise, although I dunno, cuz I never got the song in race) (I dunno why, as for Fly and Dawnbreaker, everything is fine, til you finish the race, like “why the song repeated from the start?”. Like I remember back in FH4 they already have some sort of “pattern” for the song, why it’s messed up on FH5?

Edit: Sunrise actually have no broken loop or anything, the song is literally just like in FH4!

Nocturne - Keeno (the song have awkward “loop attempts”)

So far the rest of the playlist are fine, not sure if it’s more. But as one player who played while jamming, I kinda wish this would be fixed, or re-edited

I wish they would do away with the loops. It makes the already terrible songs sound even worse. I would much prefer it if just let the songs play out as is. For one thing, during long races, I actually preferred hearing multiple songs. Helped play into the fact that you weren’t just doing an ordinary race.

Why didn’t they bring back songs like Blue Monday and Clap Your Hands? Great songs… some more upbeat songs! The songs on Pulse FH5 are almost all pessimistic at best. With the exception of Levitate and the ultra-silly Hello, they all have negative lyrics.

FH is supposed to be fun… I don’t want to hear songs about someone, who after all they’ve been through, looking for their next heart…break.

TBH, for something like, “Straight To The Morning”, I’m fine with it, but most of Pulse playlist are, yeah, I agree on you

About Mixtape tho, I kinda wish they’d bring:

Everyday (Netsky Remix) - Rusko (if you want to do story tribute, it should’ve been very similar, if you can)
Liberate - Eric Prydz (same reason)
Fall For You - Just Kiddin’ (back in FH3, this song is a certified summer jam, have a listen, trust me!)
Cheat Codes - Nitro Fun (maybe they wanna add FH4 song, to me this is better choice)

Ofc it’s all subjective to me, but eh, everyone can dream

About metal, it’s if they want to add new radio statio, say like, “Horizon Steel” (sounds good tho)

As for Mixtape, keep it stay for some song from past Horizon titles

I have never heard about artists Language and Nocturne. Can’t find on Spotify either. Are they good?

Both are actually song title, both Language and Nocturne, from (in order) Porter Robinson and Keeno. Have a listen, they both good

Can someone explain what’s the point of Mixtape station? I’ve only heard 3 tracks: dubstep and two EDM. As someone who gets bored easily after listening to same genres over and over too long and who has limitless music taste when it comes to genres, this is getting annoying.

Have you claimed the accolade rewards from the story? Or done any of the seasonals that unlock some?

They made a mistake IMO forcing players to unlock songs on this station. It’s a really stupid decision.

Anything for forced player engagement….it seems their popular game and talented design staff (and i do mean that) just aren’t enough. Have to try and force people to play their playlist.

I understand forced engagement on certain things like cars but gate keeping some songs on the weekly chorelist and screwing people who either missed it or are new to the game is really stupid. What are these people meant to do? Go on the auction house and buy the song they missed. It’s a song PGG… Not to mention how beneficial it would be for PGG if players had more in game music to listen to as the existing music can only be listened to so much. Seriously PGG unlock all songs for everyone in an upcoming update…

The point of Mixtape radio is just for fan service, since this is 10th anniversary, and some people requesting some song to be back (Mixtape only limited to returning song), so yeah…

I loved (maybe because I was younger, maybe because I’m nostalgic now) the playlists of the previous releases.
I quickly got bored of that music, so much so that I drive without it. :red_car:
