Haha yes I can feel your pain since I mostly love the retro and classic cars as well. Ooh well, I only have a moderate interest in this pack as well but I don’t really mind. So soon after release date I have plenty of stuff to do apart from messing around with new car packs.
Of the cars known (leaked), I’m looking forward to the Renault Alpine. I hope that this car is a sign of things to come, plenty more cool retro French cars to be had.
I’ll only purchase those 10mil classics from the AH at a major discount lol
Holy moly! A police car?! Now that’s what me and everyone loves to see!
Also happy to see the Vulcan, Spano, M2 and Huayra BC come into the game. Those are incredible additions indeed!
If it is a police interceptor, it is an actual interceptor. There were no civilian versions of the P71 Crown Vic. It was either civilian version, or it was an Interceptor. Hence the P71 in the VIN.
I used to own a Crown Vic Police Interceptor, there are major differences between the standard civilian model and the P71.
Coil spring suspensioninstead of air ride, better engine , ect. And either a vinyl rear seat or a solid plastic molded one to fit those who have been arrested, with a ‘bit’ better comfort than the stabdard bench seat.
None of the P71 options were available to the standard Vic. And even buying an Interceptor from the factory new was almost always impossible, as the ones that would arrive were already sold to law enforcement in the area.
I had one as well, it was a '93 and to my knowledge was bought from the factory with the Interceptor package, I cannot prove that as it was a third hand vehicle from a family member, but it had been in the family since new and I have no reason to believe otherwise. It is rare that they came from the factory that way, but it is possible.
I think people are expecting a full blown police car, with lights and all and I doubt that will be the case. It will most likely be modeled after a decommissioned cruiser and will have the engine, suspension and visual components, but none of the actual patrol parts.
Yes, I know that, but the Crown Vic will be done the same way more than likely, body kit options on the regular car, I doubt the stock dlc car will be decked out in full police package options.
It would be much better if we have better cop cars, like dodge charger or even some cop cars in this list http://www.topgear.com/car-news/supercar/these-are-world’s-best-police-cars#1
Crown Victoria is good and all, but come on, it can’t really catch half of the cars in this game. Hopefully it’s a real functioning cop car, not just a paint job and emergency lights.
Wished there was a buggy, but that’s okay because I’m really looking forward to the Crown Vic and the Jeep CJ-5 Renegade in there! On the Crown Vic, I’ll definitely be downloading a police design, if it doesn’t already come with one. The other cars are great, too!
