As a bit of recognition to those who have shared their tunes, I thought I would share mine for the BMW M3 E36.
I sort of disappeared from the forums early in FM4 due being completely addicted and needing to concentrate on other things. My two older boys (ages 7 and 10) now have FM6 and an XBOX One, so have been teaching them the ropes of the game and getting them into a bit of tuning and trying to explain the logic behind the tweaks. So a huge thank you to Dust2Death and Foot in particular who’s open source build and tunes I have used to show them how you can get more out of your cars and then adjust to suit your own style.
I’m still not the fastest driver so please excuse any times associated with the cars as they are my own only. Even in when playing FM4 for 10 hours+ a week I was a barely a top 1000 driver.
I only get about an hour (2 hours if lucky) a week to play, so if you get a chance to try and if you come up with improvements please share.
Have to give you props for doing this, im in the same boat as i have an 8 year old boy that is trying out Forza tunning and building for the first time as well a 12 year old girl who is getting some interest on gaming, am also not the fastest nor a top tear tuner but i try to the best of my ability to teach and learn at the same time…i will give this a try and will certainly give you some constructive feed back…Thanks for sharing…
Nice job!!! Didn’t take it to rivals but this car is vrey well balanced…Job well done on the B class…will take it to lobbies and see what it can do…Thanks
I have a 22 year old daughter that I got into gaming around the same age. She ended up being way better than me at everything. If I had a dollar for every beat down I got in Tekken from her…Anyway, she’s still a gamer although she’s moved on to PC based games, it’s still somehing we have in common and can relate to each other about. She never took to racing games, which probably worked out in my favor because getting beat by a girl in racing stings a little worse. Welcome back, I think you’ll find that the sharing of tuning knowledge has greatly improved since the FM4 days.
Hi Dave, Great that your still running the Ring - they’ll have to name a corner after you soon! The C Class will be better for the Ring!
Moparjay, great that you can have something in common with your girl, even if you have to take the odd whoopin. I’m trying to get my boys to play Forza as I can’t beat them at Fifa, it should at least take them a while to get all assists off in FM6.
W4RLOCK38, great that you tried it out, glad you found it well balanced. Let me know if you see anything that could be improved.
I’ve just finished racing the BMW BTCC car through the downpour series, wow that was hard work.
These were built cheaply as my career cars and if I get more time I might be forced to try the ridiculous 5.7 V8 engine swap. I think they turn really nicely and are well balanced, although they might still be a little stiff.
Also feel free to share your photos of your E36 for us all to enjoy.

Surprisingly I had a lot of fun running the Formula E career races, so thought I would post up my workings to share.
Although this was the #27 Andretti it should work on any of the Formula E cars.
As a bit of tip, try and keep a little throttle on while going around corners.
