Thanks again for your feedback ! Yes, you certainly in the truth… For me it’s quite easy to run because I know where and how I should drive.
As I remember, I spent as much as I can. I know that it can be easily cut, but the fun is to follow the rule because it can be achievable.
For me, it is fun when you succeed in controlling the drift to get out of the turn in the next right direction.

Yeah I agree, I always stick to the intended route - otherwise what’s the point? I think I’m improving slowly controlling the cars the more I drive them… might be interesting to see what it’s like with a different view too?
(I’m probably gonna regret saying that, LoL)

I’ll second that. In fact I am about this close :pinching_hand:t5: to taking a break from the game so you guys are keeping me hanging on… even if it is by a very short thread.

Thanks - I didn’t want it to be toooooo easy, rounded up so it wasn’t also too frustrating. It is yet another just-for-fun run. Fun fact, by the time it hits the ground it is going slightly above top ground speed for this tune (439 km/h). Imagine crash landing at that speed.

I’m working through more of the shared events here now, lots of cool stuff!

I’ve got a new one that I urge you guys to try.
-Won’t Get Fooled Again
-“Or will you? Not everything is what it seems. Good luck in the maze”
This is a maze style course in the streets of Edinburgh. It’s designed to be comically maddening, but it’s not anything that requires much skill. It will literally laugh in your face. You guys might hate me for it haha.

YEP! LoL!

Very clever!! Don’t want to say too much and give anything away but great use of the environment and yes, it definitely laughs in your face! Good ending too… say no more

Tough course but I got through it without too much trouble with the exception of the pipe jumps. Those are some touchy little buggers. Overall, tough but fun. The only thing I was slightly annoyed by was having to restart so many times on the very first jump. The others, it’s not a big deal because rewind is available. Good job.

Once again thank you for the positive feedback, that rewind likes to kick in when it wants, I’ll make sure to start a little further from the courses in future so rewind is available from the start. Thanks again pal.

Fun hang time if a little tense when the counter starts in mid-air. Mostly about aim here… and being eccentric.

Ok, so I just made a series of events…all regular world stuff tho. (I have three stunt events, but two are pretty butch. lol)

Road Patrol Ep.1-8

Uses the Chevy Caprice with Livery: 161 496 633

I wanted to run a theme through each of them so they are a little fun but they each use a different event type: danger sign, skill run, drift zone, etc.

What stunk was I was on #6 when I realized my character wasn’t in the right outfit…lol. So I redid the events so it would be dressed properly.

Now that I have those done, I have a few ideas for actual stunt tracks. We’ll see how they turn out.

I ran these in order & just wanted to say how much I enjoyed them. Excellent balance of events & even just the journeys to some of them were a challenge in themselves, LoL! Top marks for being inventive, the flow of the Storyline is great :+1:t5: If anyone thinks this is just a group of standard PR stunts I’d encourage them to give these a run… they’re not as straightforward as they might seem at first glance. Good stuff Cake :clap:t5::clap:t5::clap:t5:

Thank you, Midnyte.

That is exactly what I wanted to do. To see what each event type is about (aside from just the Skills/time thing) but also make them a little more interesting than just “Go here.” I wanted traffic, so that eliminates putting in any objects, which is a shame because on some. the auto-path runs you differently than I’d like. For instance, the coffee house one, runs you the wrong way through the Drift Zone, so you don’t actually end up at the coffee house. lol. One thing they could put in is like what is on any map software, which is the ability to put in waypoints, or just drag the line to highlight an alternate route. I also tried to make each route different but I did end up with two that were very similar. They also run through each different time of the day in succession. Just a day in the life of Johnny Law. lol.

I don’t have a next series in mind yet, just scattered ideas, but it will be sans traffic so I’ll be able to use objects and barriers and such. It is fun…it is just so time consuming to get it right.

And I agree with Oldsmagnet. So many of these are just completely uninspiring. And yet they have a ton of votes/likes. It just makes it harder to find the good ones. Speaking of, I’m currently working my way through the list of those posted here. Some are quite good, some I don;t care for as much. But I will def run your track…not necessarily a fan of Oldsmobiles, but I am a fan of enthusiastic fans. “You like a thing? I like things too!” lol.

It’s disheartening to see so many of the “trending” challenges being just simple danger signs, point-to-point, etc. In the last ‘complete’ super-7 challenge I went through (ie the one where they throw 7 random challenges at you) 5 of challenges had no props at all. One had ~one~. And one was actually quite creative, pretty well loaded up. But being the last challenge of the 7, there was never an opportunity to “Like” it. I’m not saying these things need to get to the full Chotchkie’s 14-items-of-flair, but at least ~pretend~ to try… I don’t understand how those things get so much attention while the creative talents just hide out at the bottom of obscurity. I’ll have to make a point of getting through the links on ~this~ page, and throw some attention your way.

That being said, here’s one of mine that I’m hoping can get enough attention for someone important at PG to notice. Any of my fellow Oldsmobile fans should be able to agree and appreciate. I definitely don’t claim to have much creative talent in this buildup, but it’s a message that ~I~ would sure like to see amplified.

Car’s the GNX cloned up as the 83 Hurst Olds, a car/model that’s sorely missing from the game. Somewhere around 920, as I recall. Not my livery, not my tune. (knew I’d need my patience for the next step of the project)
Rock Quarry danger sign - best to stay a little to the right-of-center on the ramp, and keep throttle hammered just before you hit the ground (likes to bounce badly and flip/fail otherwise)

Oldsmobile fans, give this thing a run and a like, maybe even share with other Olds fans to do the same.
Talented creators who feel the same — feel free to recreate a better version of this, because, well, it’s about as basic as the builder-interface…

I have been waiting for someone to say this, I stumbled across a challenge and in the description it literally said “this update sucks”, what is the point of that, if you don’t like, avoid it, there’s plenty of other stuff to do, if they’ve played it this long, also will try to give your challenge a play and a like when I get chance, hard work getting through all the challenges on this feed.

Oldsmagnet, the first part of what you said couldn’t be more true. I stopped doing random Super7 stuff because I was tired of getting so much junk with no creativity. At one point, I got the same “Hoonigan Achievement” (or something like that) challenge in three consecutive sets. It was literally just a 15 second drive right up the road. Had tons of plays and likes. It was completely pointless. I wish creative people actually got more recognition. I also wish you could see how many plays and likes you had on your own challenges, but I haven’t seen anywhere that it shows that.

If you search your own user name you can see the plays and likes. Would make sense to put that directly within ‘your challenges’ but that would have been too easy.

A step up from the past 3, already gaining attention unlike the previous challenges I published, this course is much harder and gives you less time to gain some composure at any point, you have to focus and think fast. This is a true test of reactions and precision with very technical points to it, you have 15 minutes to navigate it and rewind is on.

If you can somehow manage to complete this course, or any of them, without the use of rewind you have won precision driving and are a driving god lol.
Good luck and enjoy.
