I felt I had to create a Bloodhound livery for the F-type given this is the car that is tied in with the Jaguar sponsorship of the Bloodhound Project. Here’s a preview with more pictures in a later post:

So who isn’t looking forward to later in 2015 when the Bloodhound team finally bring their creation to Hakskeen Pan in South Africa to take on the land speed record? I’ve finally finished my (first) tribute to their efforts - I hope you all like it.
I would have used the Jaguar F-Type as the basis but for some reason I couldn’t paint the wheels so it’s back to the Jaguar XKR-S. I’ll probably paint a different version on the F-type with something a little less…orange!
The Bloodhound images were based on originals created by Flock and Siemens for the Bloodhound Project.
P.S. I tried to clean up the boundaries between the bonnet and the sides and front bumper with no success so having to live with it with clenched teeth!

I’m currently working on a revised version for the F-type which is coming along nicely so watch this space - similar imagery but hopefully a cleaner design surrounding it; we’ll see!

its clean, sleek, has excellent text and has well-excuted 3D image of the bloodhound. Looks so much more like something that would actually be on the roads.

Thats an amazing job, look excellent. I saw the replica they had 2 years ago doing the car show rounds. Cant wait to see the real thing in action.
