A few sleepers for me have been the '08 BMW Z4 M Coupe, Eagle Speedster and the '03 Honda S2000.
I feel like we had this restriction for street pretty recently
Yeah the one with the street highway runâŠI would love to be able to use the griffin again, but the drags are not good for circuits. Fiddling with a few this time I never useâŠtwo of the ones shadow listed and the lotus elise I think it is. That one has kind of weak accel, but really handles the curved track nicely with little need to brake hard at all. The supra was a surprise for me. I used cashâs tune for it to test itâŠand it jets off the start line. I might retune it though as the back is a little too grippy for my liking on MulegĂ©. I am going to focus on these builds this week as modern sport cars is one I never really mess with. I have a few I always use. The nissan 2023 is my main go to in most cases for circuits.
@TheGillesMuller raises an excellent point about the name âyoung as oldâ making me think it might be modern and retro sports cars.
any guesses on the car in the back?
my best guess is still the '20 Supra, making it all Modern
Could it be one of the Alfas?
itâs similar to the 4C, also Modern
UghâŠthere are already a ton of modern sports cars, adding in retro would possibly make this the most eligible cars ever in a Trial.
I donât have a clean enough pic of the thumbnail to make heads or tails out of what car the red one is.
I see the amount of effort that goes into trying to identify these each week; is there some reason they canât or wonât simply put the track & requirements in fine print on the listing?
itâs like any serialized entertainment. they want you to tune in and find out
with A800 modern so recently, nobody will need a tune for this trial
Oh well, gave me an opportunity to rework my modern sports cars tunes for the better.
Doesnât look like many players will need tunes for the seasonal championships either.
Nor for the anything goes PR stunts.
definitely not sharing anything for the PR stunts
PR stunts seem pretty straight forward at face value. My Mosler (Speed/Jumps) and TVR Griffiths (for Drift) tunes work well for Summer and Autumn, far surpassing 3 star score by a decent margin and giving me new PB in some cases although depending on the targets, the HW Autumn Speed Trap may need the Jesko but I donât think (hope) the target will be asking us to get 299 MPH (Mosler hit 289MPH)
Iâve not run the others yet but donât expect too many issues but it would be useful to know targets before-hand to help getting the right car/tune dialed in
Love it!
I record my PR runs out of season without knowing targets but work on the basis that overkill is just enough kill when it comes to powering up the cars or taking longer runs
There are times when Iâve made multiple runs squeezing a little bit more from the run until I hit the limit of the car/tune only to see the targets on release and think a more relaxed would have done that with less hassle
needs mor PR stunts
It was stressed in the recent video and ManteoMaxâs thread that Rivals/Monthly Rivals/Forza EV, Showcases, Horizon Stories, Expeditions or EventLab events do not count towards the contribution of Horizon Race-Off goals. It may be a consequence of this that the devs have reduced the number of some challenges in the Playlist so that events such as championships which do count towards the goals can be increased.
I am for more seasonals. To me the event labs are fun to try community members creations for, but for me personally I like more races. Gives me something to do in the evenings besides finishing the playlist in a day on my days off.
thanks.
need those wheelspins
