when a player has multiple duplicate cars and wishes to gift them ( such as during a seasonal event over the holidays ) if they select show duplicates at the moment you can gift every one of the cars you own meaning you can actually end up going from multiples of one car to not having any of that car in your garage at all and having to go back and repurchase the vehicle again.
could it not be set up so once you have only one of each vehicle in your garage its removed from the duplicates menu so you cant gift or sell all of them by mistake
