95% of the first 50 or so “suggestions” are just track vote threads, which aren’t even really suggestions Car voting is separate, so it makes no sense for track voting not to be separate as well. It’s very difficult to see any actual suggestions for the game itself. That means you have to search for a specific suggestion yourself to actually find it, most of the time. Please separate the track vote threads so more of the community can make their voices heard more easily.
I love the idea!
(Also sorry for the track voting activity)
lol don’t be sorry! i’ve voted on tons of tracks. There are only 20 in the game, we NEED more and if we’re not even getting 1/month, the specific ones we get are important.
If we don’t vote, we might get one nobody likes, like Yas Marina!
… oh wait
They are separate. If you just go to the main suggestion hub you see everything by design.
You don’t see car voting, because it’s separate from suggestions. You “see everything” but you actually only see track voting threads unless you scroll and scroll and scroll. That’s my point. They shouldn’t be in a separate part of Suggestions, they should be separate from Suggestions entirely, just like car voting threads.
Idk what view you have but I see all suggestions incl car voting when I click on suggestions hub.
I’ve moved the Track Voting - FM category to be its own master category, so now when you click the Motorsport Features category you’ll get those subcategories without Track topics. The Tracks category appears below the Motorsport Features category in the forums nav bar.
Poll: Keep the FM Track Voting as its own category or as a subcategory of Motorsport Features?
- Track voting as its own category
- Track voting as subcategory of FM Features
Awesome!
I noticed you briefly combined car and track voting. I think that makes the most sense, but otherwise I think it’s best to just make track voting its own category.
I tested how Cars & Tracks would look together in a combined view and decided we still want to highlight cars on their own, so I landed on your first suggestion. (For anyone not seeing these changes yet sometimes you need to refresh your browser.)
