Im quite new to this whole Xbox thing. (Im playing on PC)
I’m not sure what the equivalent is on PC. Maybe check the Microsoft store about once a week or so to see what’s on sale? Usually it changes up once a week, usually Tuesday afternoons sometime US time.

Deals with Gold requires Xbox Live Gold membership - about $80 a year for us in Australia.
I’m pretty sure that the PC games do not require Xbox Live Gold. Also, you should never have to pay full price for Gold. Check IGN deals, eBay, and sites like cdkeys.
