I did, as I did with Jezza’s suggested cars. I forgot to add them to the google.docs though. Updated the list.
The RS4 only works with MC and front aero but is very strong under acceleration. It suffered through the handling sections on my track though.
Just made it into the top 30.
2006 Audi RS4: 5:48.257
2002 Lotus Esprit V8: 5:47.125 (only as RWD though which gives an PI advantage of ~20).
2001 TVR Tuscan S: 5:49.620 basically the same build as Attax’ and Marples. Suffers at 270 km/h upwards.
2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type-A: 5:50.739 more than enough power, insane top speed (~390 km/h) but the handling can’t keep up with S900.
I thought, that in the S1 class 2019 Carrera S and 2015 Corvette Z06 are pretty good. I even built their S1 900 builds. Carrera S is great even with stock brakes. And even better with the forza ones. They are hideous though. So I would rather use the original Porsche brakes. Not that the new 911 is that much of a looker. But its not terrible.
But that all might be because I often turn the cars to AWD (because of freeroam) and I rarely swap engines. If I do swap them, its usually just for a better sounding naturally aspirated one.
Top S1 class (900) is usually my choice. Cars are fast enough while keeping some character. And they dont come with all the craziness of S2 a X classes.
