This issue has persisted since Forza Motorsport 3, if not earlier. The TSW Catalunya wheels in Forza have an inaccurate and low quality model. They were seemingly modeled for a diameter they were not offered in, and then scaled down to “fit” smaller sizes. This is marked by the unnecessarily small centre piece, and the spokes that should go straight but connect at an angle.
Considering that Work X JDM Concept GT5 wheels recieved a model change early in Horizon 5’s life, I expected all the wheels I’ve reported to also get remodeled in the future, and clearly the new models would be possible to be implemented in FH5 due to the aforementioned case. Why is it then that all of my Bug Reports have been taken down for an arbitrary reason? Changing the model of a car without scanning body kits, and thus basically deleting them, would certainly cause tunes to get corrupted. Similarly, liveries would get misalligned. But wheel models? There can be as many Paint Groups as there currently are, this does not have to change, but what does is the inaccurate models. These wheel models do not work as intended, they are inaccurate, they ought to recieve a remodel.
I admire your work with the wheels and I fully agree with you!
As I voted for every single issue you opened I also received all the closing notifications.
This is ridiculous and shows how “great” the THUB is working - NOT!
In my opinion THUB already started weak from the beginning. But then FM was released with the all-time high issue record of all video games. As a result THUB completely blew up. As mostly the same people are responsible for FH5 and FM issues (and probably also because FH5 is older) FH5 got even less attention and here we are now:
Even after this week´s closing of around 50 issues with no real reasons still hundreds of open FH5 issues well back into first half of 2023 are mostly unmanaged today - even if you draw the new issue category “FH5 Car Issues” into account.
I am probably the only person in the world (including PG/T10) who read and understood them all.
Because of how “great” the THUB is working players are now mostly frustrated. As a result they are even less engaged. So as forseeable development most issues are now closed with the new reason “low reporting” even if the issue is clearly existing, well described and problematic - just because “only” 1-4 players voted for it.
The result will be the same like with your wheel issues: All the issues will be copied over in every single future Horizon game (FH and FM) - built from the ground up!
Yes, only 1-4 players voted for an issue, means that the issue either happened once or not enough people care about/have said issue happen to them that it’d be worth putting resources into to fix it (especially while working on 3 different games)
