Ridge Racer is known for having unique tachometer for their cars… Now if one of these Ridge Racer cars lands on the game as part of a monthly update or a car pack, the best thing to not dissapoint the Ridge Racer fanbase who plays Forza, is to nail the tachometers down to the last minute detail, with working gauges and stuff.
Some of them are ripped off the game, to give you an idea how these tachometer looks in game

Abeille’s tach is way too common

Prophetie is kinda ok

Bisonte is a salad of gauges!

Bayonet’s is the nicest looking tach

EO’s tachs are tad interesting

Fatalita’s feels like the FXX’s

Esperanza’s gauges are quite unique

Fiera, the all time favorite since 1993

Soldat Raggio, this one should be used on the Yamasa Raggio as well
Forgive me for the quality

Hello. Sorry for my absense last week! I was at that Ridge Racer Night 2024 festival… and it was a blast!!!
By the way, thanks for contributing so far with your threads.
Also, how did you get those tachometers? Did you ripped them from the PSP version?

Yeah… I ripped the assets from the game using the PPSSPP GB Debugger

I see… These may come in handy when it comes to dashboard designing

btw… these are tachometers from special cars from Ridge Racers 2, also ripped from PPSSPP

The RRV version of the Crinale used to have a circular tachometer, but imagining how the double tachometer works could look even more badass. Maybe those little circles may represent the speedometer, the fuel and oil pressure…
Also, two of them kinda reminds me of the tachometers from the Crinale and the Angelus from RR6…

And… @foxfer64, where’s the RRV Angelus tachometer?

The Angelus’ tach is not matching with the ingame HUD… but what do you think? Should it have this tach or the in-game hud

This is the ripped file

This is the in-game tach used in the HUD

How about both? having the main tachometer in the center while the other gauges are like fuel, oil, pressure… I mean. it’s a race car!

Dude… the Bisonte from R4 is a beast! This one should be in the roster if Ridge Racer ever had a 2nd update like Donut Media had
