RFR BTCC season 3

Welcome to season 3 of the BTCC on RFR, An all time favorite series for most people is back for a 3rd time.
With a new car add to the roster, and new builds/setup, this is a garantee for close, action-packed racing.
This event will be held on THURSDAY every week
With Qualifying and Races being held on the same night.
All the cars have been updated and are now much closer in all levels of performance.

Livery Rules:
: Please use only Race style paints, Preferably BTCC Replica paints.
: Display your number and gamertag on both sides of the car.

Teams:
: Teams are to consist of maximum 2 drivers.
: People can join as a privateer, to compete as an individual
: Drivers in the same team must use the same car and base livery.

Championship:
:This event will have 4 championships:
— Overall championship
— AM championship
— Team Championship
— Privateer championship
: The series will have 7 rounds
: Each round will consist of 1 qualifying session and 3 races
: All racers must follow the lobby host instructions.
: All RFR Rules apply.
: All racers must be registered before racing.
: Racers can use any assists but AUTO BRAKE.
: Car builds cannot be changed.
: Tuning is allowed
: The round with the lowest score will NOT count towards final classification!

Qualifying:
: Qualifying will start @ 8.30pm BST
: Collisions Off
: Simulation Damage
: Qualifying will be 6 laps (5 flying laps).
: Points will be awarded to the top 10 drivers classified
: All times must be certified.
: Anyone who misses qualifying will start from the back of the grid.
: Any one who lag’s, quit’s or crash out after the 1st lap. There time will be taken from when they dropped out.
: Please remember when Qualifying is finished to remain in the lobby as this will be the race one grid.

Racing:
: Race one will start no later than 9pm BST
: There will be minimum of 5min break after qualify
: There will be 3 races per round
: Collisions Always on
: Simulation Damage
: All races will be STANDING starts.
— 1st: Order by Qualifying time
— 2nd: Order by finish position race 1
— 3rd: Order by finish position race 2, top 10 Reversed
: There will be NO pitstops

Thanks. Eventually realised I’ve registered back in 2015 under my old GT, and current e-mail which I think clashed somewhere. Can login now and requested a Username change. Soon as it’s approved I’ll explore a bit and join BTCC.

Would love to sign up for this but it actually clashes with another touring car series, ORL’s Touring Car Championship, which I’m already running in.

Championship slightly changed:

instead of a bi-weekly series, this will be our main wednesdays championship.
Still starts 1st march, but now it will run EVERY week,

There’s also an added round, making it a total of 8 rounds.
last race will be held on 19th april.

UPDATE:

  • Now a thursday event
  • 1st round will be on 2nd march
  • Round 8 added, @ long beach
  • New rules: ADDITION OF BALLAST for TOP 3 racers. (more info will follow shortly)

NEWSFLASH:

  • We are hosting a media/practice lobby 23rd februari, thursdayevening
  • Lobby will be opening around 8:30pm
  • All build will be shared, and will have a base setup on them. look for RFR in the description.
  • The idea is to show off liveries, and pose for pictures from the replay.
  • We’ll be doing some short sprints around a few tracks from the calender, to practice and get used to cars and racing in a pack.
  • Feel free to join our party chat, and ask for an invite :wink:

UPDATE

  • All races will be standing starts.
  • New features from latest update allow us to use proper grid ordering.
  • 2nd race, grid order by finish position race 1
  • 3rd race, grid order by finish position race 2, top10 reversed (so: 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-11-12-13-14-15-16-…)
  • first round @silverstone, 21 laps per race!

UPDATE

Due to have the manual grid ordering works, we can NOT use different brackets/groups.
So therefor our BALLAST rule will not be used. which we are sad about…
Would have given us a better and more competitive championship.

Anyways,
