I want to restart FH2 for Xbox One from the start, I’ve done it before but I can’t remember how to do it I’ve not been happy with my last save for a while so want to start again, I did it how I thought (menu button when hovered on the game in games & apps then uninstall/reinstall) but it just loaded from where I left off even though I pressed cancel sync - any help would be great!

You will see the local game data on the left, maybe your DLCs in the middle and your savegame on the right.

Menu botton → Delete
If you want to start from scratch you need to select ‘local & CLOUD’
I have a question about this… If you do a complete wipe and restart from scratch does it remove all your FH2 reward points? and also do you lose your DLC you have bought? VIP, car pass ect…
You only lose your savegame (cars, credits, tunes, etc).
Your current Forza rewards will stay and you can continue collecting with your new savegame.
Your DLCs (VIP, Carpass, etc) are part of your Microsoft account and not part of the savegame. They stay too!

I can’t see anywhere that says delete local & cloud, only option I see is “internal uninstall all”

Out of interest, if I was to do this would it would it let me buy the DLC cars one time for free again?
Yes all DLC you purchased with real money will be there to buy for free from the Autoshow after you travel to Nice for the very first time (meaning that you have to complete the first few races and the first showcase event before this will happen)
