I hope someone will be inspired by this to make a design for the Ferrari 488 of the Kaspersky Motorsport livery, which I think looks amazing.

Work in Progress 11/11/2017
Thought it was time to give you a look at the progress (just started the project yesterday - but still will be done by the end of the weekend as promised). Since this isn’t the GT3 model, there are going to be a few areas that I’ve had to/will have to modify. Still need to paint the hood & roof, but did some research yesterday and got all the required photos needed to complete the project (except that one decal on the front fender… still working on that). Maybe someone can help
Anyway, been fun so far. Threw a few vinyls on there for effect… gonna start back into it as soon a I’m done here. Should wrap up the painting this afternoon and get through most of the decals today… finishing up tomorrow for sure.
(don’t mind the graphic on the roof… it’s just there temporarily so I can use it on the hood later)

So that means I got it all… yeah!!! Makes it a bit easier when additional car photos can be found. Finding this overhead shot was critical…
same car raced at Barcelona for the GT Open - sponsor decals on the roof were simply not visible in the other photos
No worries Bob, car is coming along great in your WIP images. Found a few decent photos of the car but even when I could see the logo clearer, had still never heard of them and was google searching various interpretations before I hit the right one lol.
Will look out for the finished article. Keep up the good work.

Good progress today… finish-up tomorrow. Need to paint the remainder of the hood stripes & add a few graphics & drivers.

Couldn’t have put it any better. Ferraris can be a right pain when it comes to getting designs to flow over the top & sides, especially at the rear… and with metallic too? Impressive attention to detail Bob

As I indicated in the first post, I had been wanting to do a Kaspersky Ferrari for awhile now so this request was a no brainer for me. Happy with the way it turned out and learned a few tricks along the way too. I’ll update my thread and post it in the contest later - time for a few races an rest up for work tomorrow.

I don’t know if you will be able to clearly make out the Kaspersky logo through those hood vents. You really do have to keep things like that in mind when doing a replica as it could be a deal breaker. Quite a few paints I thought would look great turned out far from that due to unpaintable surfaces, graphic fitment/placement issues, ect. I’d try, but being I’m credit poor - need to race to build the kitty back up. I’ll keep it in mind though - sometime in the future after I’ve time to consider all the issues and buy the car
