During the first few months of this game’s launch update notes were posted after every Car Pack launch. Here’s an example.
It’s probably futile for me to ask, but can somebody from Turn 10 publish some update notes for the latest release, so that players know what has changed?
What has been added? (Other than the cars from the Car Pack)
Has anything been removed?
Are there any bug fixes?
Are there any “quality of life” changes? (UI tweaks etc.)
You know I’m actually already getting used to hearing nothing from Turn 10 when patch notes are released. While for other games the first thing I do when I see my XBox update a game is I eagerly go to the website and read what’s changed.
I wonder what’s in the job description for a community manager at Turn 10. One would think that communicating to the community would be on top of the list…
Yeah I want to know if the stat tracking was fixed (all gold on exhibitions, drifts, danger signs, etc., stats say otherwise ever since BM came out) and the related achievements?
Exhibition Expert won’t pop despite all gold, etc.
Things like this are what should be in patch notes for us to read. Is it really asking too much for gamers (the customers who pay for new games every year, without whom there would be no T10/PG) to be kept informed about what is happening to the game we all love?
I may be in the minority here, but I am not bothered in the least by the lack of patch notes. I really have no need for them. I quickly discover what has been added or changed by playing the game.
You don’t know what you know. If they tweak tire pressure dynamics and all your tunes are now wrong how do you figure that? Or if goliath gets a fixed 100k credit award cap are you happy to find that out after you spent 3 hours grinding it?
Change notes are absolutely essential to end users.
Seriously. Please give us patch notes! How hard is it to tally up a list once a month to let the PC customers know what you are changing? Sometimes I feel like we are viewed as nothing more than dollar signs, expected to buy every game and every morsel of content with zero expectations and zero after purchase support or information!
