[Replica] SuperHueyNewton's Paint Booth- Silver Bullet! Again!

I’m new to this, but I have tried a few times previously in making paint jobs in Forza Horizon 4. I wanted to showcase those as well as the new ones I plan on making in the future.

First up: The Super Promotion 1997 Skyline GT-R V-Spec

This was based on the Skyline you received for free during one of the Super Promotion events in Need For Speed ProStreet. I was able to find a way to make as much as I could with this car, the only thing I couldn’t figure out how to translate was the girl on the hood and side, so I took the liberty of adding the Super Promotion logos in their place.

My newest project: #40 Sterling Marlin Silver Bullet inspired 1969 Dodge Charger R/T

I based this one, obviously, on the Silver Bullet Dodge that Sterling Marlin drove in the early 2000s. I was watching a Slap Sh0es video and thought it’d be interesting to take a crack at. The logo itself took me most of the day to complete, but I am still pretty happy with the car overall.

One of my older projects but one of the ones I’m most proud of is this Hot Wheels Holiday Hot Rods 1969 Hurst/ Oldsmobile 442:

A while ago I bought a lot of Hot Wheels and this is the one I had the most fun completing so far. I thought it was a nice, striking design so I went ahead and did it the quickest. It’s just one of the cars I enjoy driving without actually racing because of the paint scheme.

And next, the JP Laurent Boxcut 2010 Pagani Zonda R :

Kite Man 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1

Darrel Waltrip Gatorade #88 Hurst/ Oldsmobile 442

Hot Wheels Volkswagen Collection Golf R

Need For Speed Payback/ Hot Wheels Night Burnerz 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II

Pearl And Chrome 1970 Corvette ZR-1 & 1932 Ford Deluxe Five-Window Coupe

Need for speed Sam’s Neko Life 1997 & 2015 Honda Civic Type R

Hot Wheels 1973 Nissan Skyline H/T 2000 GT-R Rescue Police 4/10

Mark Martin #6 Pfizer 2018 Mustang RTR Spec 5, 2011 F-150 SVT Raptor, 1987 Sierra Cosworth RS500

NFSPS Nate Denver’s 1965 Pontiac GTO

Mario Kart 8 Donkey Kong base kart 2013 Ariel Atom 500 V8

Specialty Chicken Shop Mozuya 2012 Nissan GT-R Black edition

BRE Datsun John Morton 1971 Skyline 2000GT-R

Sterling Marlin Silver Bullet re-do 1969 Dodge Charger R/T & 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat

Simple designs, but good ones!

Got to get my hands on that Oldsmobile. That is a pretty cool design!

Agreed! Nice one SuperHuey :+1:t5::+1:t5:

I absolutely love what you did with the Charger! Who knew that silver was such a good choice for it? And i’ll say spending that time on the logo was worth it. Looks grand.

I just started work on a Boxcut Pagani Zonda 2010. It’s no where near completion, I think, but I just finished the Nitrocide logo on the back earlier. The car is based on one of the late game cars you drive against in the speed challenges in Need For Speed ProStreet. I can’t remember who drives the car at the moment, though. I hope to get it completed soon.

Really like the 442.
Colors and striping look very sharp.

69 Charger looks totally Bad A**

Good stuff!

I Just finished up on the Zonda that I’ve been working on.

This is based off on the JP Laurent Pagani Zonda in Need for Speed ProStreet. I love that game and the Boxcut paint schemes on every car stick out to me even more so than the Apex Glide team. Nate Denver’s GTO and the Zonda are just nice designs that I wanted to take a crack at.
The head on the back of the Zonda took me a little bit to figure out because I kinda had to look over at the model from time to time and it ended up a bit fat. I’d say overall, it does the job nicely

The strange almost tribal designs on the driver side of the car took a second to realize as well, because I was thinking that they’d work perfectly as the tribal designs the game has in it. But they weren’t doing the job that I was hoping they would and I found that the flame designs worked a lot better with the necessary look. This car was on my to-do list for a long time and I’m glad I finally went ahead and completed it. I don’t know what I have planned next, though.

This is one of my favorite cars to drive and I didn’t want to keep the same car basic red. I didn’t have any ideas for design until I watched a Comic Drake video centering around Kite Man and it gave me the idea to apply it to one of my favorite cars in the game. I tried to make the tint and the Corvette placard appear as it did in his old comics with the purple visor look.

I have had this one done for a while, but it is the Darrel Waltrip #88 Gatorade car. It was a pretty nice looking paint scheme that caught my eye in a video that had nothing to do with him

What I got done a few days ago was the Volkswagen Hot Wheels from the same name collection. I didn’t own the 2018 Golf, so I went with the 2014 Golf R. It was also a pretty plain looking car all around, so I added just a little bit to the hood.

I just recently finished this Skyline as well. I like this one a lot and how it came out. It’s based on the Need For Speed Payback Skyline. Some of the logos, though, I decided not to make. I went Nismo and Alpine instead of the Speedhunters and Kando House. I like how it came out, as well. Though, I didn’t like Payback.

Nice work on both the Nissan and the old school Gatorade design. :+1:

I like the Gatorade design best!

I have a couple more schemes based on one of the newer Hot Wheels car packs, Pearl & Chrome. The details look I wouldn’t say look chrome, more like copper. The 1932 was a bit of challenge since it is where I started. Getting the rim colors to something I actually liked took a bit of time and was even the last thing I got wrapped up. There never really is “small details” on a lot of Hot Wheel cars, and I couldn’t think of much that would make sense to do. So I simply replicated the car from the box.

My newest cars are based off the unlockable special car from Need From Speed Underground. It’s Sam’s Neko Life car! Instead of using a generic looking car, I went with Hello Kitty herself to adorn the place of the old cat. I just recolored the bow to match the paw prints throughout the car. I think that it came out better on the 1997 Civic, because the 2015 car is just so angular. Since the car in NFSU was the 2002-ish model, I think it works better on the 1997 as well because they look more like each other.

I also got the Hot Wheels Rescue series Skyline #4/10 done as well. This is the red version. I added the wave thing on the front because it appears that that appeared on police cars in Japan in the 80s and I wanted to do a little more on the car than just the kanji on the sides. I do enjoy how the red looks, especially too.

I’m still on a bit of a NASCAR kick. I grew up with the old NASCAR Thunder 2003 game on my Gamcube and always used to use Mark Martin. So I was trying to get inside the cup working on my computer, it really didn’t, but I was still able to get a good screenshot of his car from the game. Getting the look to translate onto three very different cars was a bit of a fun challange. The RTR Mustang being angular made everything a bit weird to translate. The most fun was getting the F-150 Raptor done. Putting the bed together was fun for me having the Dinoco logo on the back of it in that powder blue. The Sierra Cosworth translated very well since it wasn’t as different when it came to the angles around the car. I surprisingly had trouble finding a way to get the #6 on the car to look correct on both sides. I tried taking a look at other angles of Mark Martin’s car, but there isn’t very many pictures of the 2004 car so it took a sec for me to get the angle correct on it.

My newest scheme is based off of my favorite Need For Speed of all time, ProStreet. I LOVED the Speed Challenges, and the promos that Black Box put together to hype up Nate Denver as a huge boss made me wanna destroy, and own his GTO. I never liked the fact that you weren’t allowed to mod the King’s cars once you won them, so remaking them in Forza was a given for me. I had wanted to make it once I won the car months ago, just put it off until recently. I tried my best remaking the layers that appear on the car as closely as possible. It just about drove me crazy trying to get everything just right.

I made something a little light, a little out there, but I think original. First is my Ariel Atom based on the Mario Kart 8 base kart that the main man Donkey Kong races in. I got the idea from an old McDonald’s toy that I’ve had for years just sitting around. I tried to make it look not as plain as it appears in the game though by trying to make it look like an actual Nintendo sponsored looking racer. There is some weird mapping in a few places for the Atom when it comes to applying vinyls, but everything mostly went where I wanted it to appear. The “DK” logo itself took most of my time, but I like how it came out in the end.

The other car that I came up with was almost completely original. The wrap around the sides is based on the 1965 Nissan R380 as it appears on Nissan’s/Nismo’s history site. The rest comes from the inspiration of an anime filler that I have been watching called "Food Wars ". In episode 17 and 18, the MC takes on a chicken spot called Mozuya, and when I saw the box it hit me to apply the look onto the GT-R. So there’s other imagery that appeared in episode 17. The number, of course, comes from that. Also, there is a mascot for the train station the cast walk through that is only shown for maybe five seconds then moving on. As well as on the back of the car, I put the 3 time All-Japan chicken specialty shop award on the car. I just wanted to present this car with a good amount of imagery from the episode itself to represent it.

I got this done a few days ago, but I’m just getting around to properly sharing it. It is the 1971 BRE Datsun Skyline that was driven by John Morton. I was still coming through the Nismo history and started googling any car that didn’t have a press photo on the site and I only made it to the 1971 car to find something that I liked. It was fun to do this one, it reminds me of the Richard Petty STP car simply looking at it’s colors. The striking red with the sky blue with it. Next, I’m going to redo my efforts on the Silver Bullet #40 car since I really hate looking how lazily I did that car originally.

Finally have some free time to share the redos of the Silver Bullet I did months ago at this point. I really hated how bad my original was, so I went ahead and redid most of the logos and other accents on the car. I even made a “sequel” type car with the 2015 Hellcat. I want to do that with Ray Krieger when I have a chance to get to that as well.
