When watching replays my wheels are constantly locking under heavy braking, I run ABS as I find it easier using a controller but no other vehicle assists. This is as happening before and after the recent update 2.0 and I’ve tried it with various cars and tracks all with the same results. It’s almost as if the ABS being on isn’t recognised in the replay and the wheels just lock. Looks even weirder as the car turns into a bend with the front wheels locked up and totally ruins the replay feature. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I was on Series S prior to the update but I’ve since upgraded to Series X And encountering the same bug. Totally annoying.

I really though this would be fixed sooner then later, it ruins the replays i cant event watch it.

Yes… sad. I love to create videos from my replays but with this bug, it’s so frustrating.

I don’t have access to the game this week so I can’t verify… But I’ll take a guess and assume that it has not been fixed in Update 3.0, right?

And to be perfectly clear this is a replay issue only. It doesn’t happen during gameplay… It shouldn’t be rocket science to fix given that replay system is literally identical to Forza 5,6 & 7

If, after starting a race, you turn off abs in the settings, exit the settings, and then turn on abs again, the replay will be correct.
but this does not justify the developers, facepalm

This actually did the trick.
The bug is as simple as that: the replay system doesn’t correctly register the ABS On/Off setting and it has to be reset during the race for it to be taken into account. It’s mindbending that something as simple as that hasn’t been fixed yet.

Not fixed in Update 5. Only way to prevent it is still to disable & re-enable ABS after every race start.

We are in update 5 and I still get my brakes locking up in my replays even though I use ABS. Very frustrating, especially since I was looking forward to creating content.

Anxiously waiting to have glowing disc brakes added back to the game, in-race and replays.

Seems to be fixed in Update 7 but not 100% sure yet. (but not mentioned in release notes)

We are closing out this issue. The developers have noted this issue as Fixed as of Update 7 on 04.08.24
