Replay camera angles

I have noticed the camera’s on track can be seen lowering into position at key areas yet on replays the camera angles do not represent the actual camera’s.

Anyone else notice this?

It would be nice to see actual track side camera coverage.

I have seen this and it’s a bit distracting while driving.

I think is just another animated element on the track like the dust, birds, helicopter and so on. And has nothing similar on the replays.

I would like more realistic replays, it has been requested on features list since Forza 3 or so.

The camera angles in Replays are completely independent of the Camera models visible on the track.

Yeah those cameras don’t even follow the movements of the cars on the track. I did a D-class race on Hockenheim the other day and the camera at the hairpin after Parabolika whips around the corner way faster than any of the cars actually drove around the corner. It’s just a generic animation.

Forza I think is one of the few if only current track racer not using the real camera positions, apart for the TG test track anyway. Even if they never use the real angles I would hope they would keep the cars in frame longer at least, the constant camera changing is rubbish.

If Forza 7 is lacking in any area against other racing game, it’s in the replays. I really don’t get the fast cutting rap video style, it makes it impossible to appreciate cornering and technique.

Hopefully, they’ll include a more “standard” replay camera in the next update :]

I think they are trying to be creative with the replay. I’d rather see a standard trackside camera, like a TV view.

i didn’t find these ‘creative’ cams too bad, they atleast didn’t add the unrealistic chase-cam to replays ^^ but they do get ‘uncreative’ after watching the 3rd lap with the same cameras on the same spots again and again.

but yeah, absolutely agree on trackside-cams and static-cams…actually, i thought you could even swap to different ‘replay-cameras’ like you could swap to different cameras with the the swingcam f.e. Talking about those replays-cams, they added sooo much cams, but 90% really uncool. TyreCam, Board-Cam, HeadCam, all those cams you see in RealRacing-YT videos, are completely missing.
