It is worse in cars with quieter, smoother engines.
Like the Mercedes-Benz GT R 2017.
It really creates a distasteful driving experience when you can barely hear the engine/exhaust note over the whiney gearbox.
Turning the car volume down, turns all the car sounds down, including exhaust and engine sounds.
It doesn’t solve the issue.
