I would love for there to be a little rear-view mirror type rectangle on the top of the screen that you can turn on or off.
The reason for this is I usually play with a wheel and have my controller disconnected, so I can’t look behind me or around my car. It would also be more convenient as you can look behind you as well as in front of you, and don’t have to pan your camera around.
There is a common issue for users driving with a wheel that we can not map look back to a button.
In cockpit view this makes driving difficult not knowing what is behind you, causing collisions unknowingly.
The option to add a permanent rear view mirror to the top of screen (as used in previous motorsport series) would be an alternative resolution.

I’ve been asking for this in hood and bumper view for 10 years to crickets. Really bad oversight not to easily see what is behind you. Good luck.
