Hello everyone, i’m really frustrated. The Ranked mode in FH4 is just a pain in the ass! When you win an adventure you will become +90 Points but when you lose an adventure you will get forced with -180 points. Are you f**** kidding me? Why shoud i played ranked mode when it’s not possible to get in a higher rank? And this month only Grandmasters will become the FE Car. This gamemode sucks!!!

It is possible to get a higher rank, but you have to be really good. Steps to follow to become a grandmaster:
- Become really really good at rivals. You will need to be getting close to the times at the top of the leaderboards.
- Learn how to wallride, you will need to practise every track to work out which walls are beneficial to ride.
- Learn every track down to the tiniest level of detail.
- Learn how to ram skillfully so you can help your team win by slowing down members of the opposing team without slowing yourself down. Remember it’s your team that has to win, your individual placing doesn’t matter.
- Learn the map down to tiny details such as where rocks are that will stop you. You will need to execute every freeroam rush nigh on flawlessly.
- Spend a huge amount of time working out which cars are fastest, and developing perfect tunes. You will need to test them on every track/route.
- Become really fast at looking at a playlist and working out which car will be best for that specific set of tracks and freeroam rushes, and season / weather conditions.
- Join a team of other people who have done all the above and use techniques such as sacrificial players who quit in the first race, and people with sandbagged ratings to boost their chances of winning and boost the impact on their rating when they win.
I suck at most of the above, which is why I’m not highly ranked either.

You can hit Grand Master playing clean, it takes actually around 4-6 months, depends on your lucky of your team and if the enemy team are playing clean too.
I hit rank 10 the first month and stopped playing ranked because people only do points 4 to 7.
If you want to hit Grand Master in 2 months do all the points, yes, the game system right now forces you to do it by this way because 80% of lobby players are ramming and wallriding.
If you want to play clean (like me and other players) dont play ranked, dont play Team Adventure, create your private races with friends or definitely dont play Forza Horizon 4 online, the system are broken.
Don’t forget to stack the opposing team with players that will lose on purpose.
Ramming and wallriding are the official keys to success.
Also,joining a club of bullies helps, this will ensure your twam wins by effective combative driving, skills should be left at home. Heavier vehicles are good for ramming and blocking.
Anything lighter than say a Warthog may not be enough.
I don’t even bother with ranked racing. Triedit just enough to get ranked, then found out once matchmaking pairs you up with the proper kids, you will never get past level 20.
Oh, and team mates? They will be the fiest ones to wreck you out.
I gave up after Rank 15. After that I was just bouncing between 16 and 15 (even 17 once) because of the currently badly broken system.
I can come in 1st/2nd every-ish race - and when “we” win I get 8, 15, 40 points. Then I can come in 1st/2nd every-ish race and “we” lose - and I lose 80 or 150 points?
I’m hoping tomorrow’s patch with Non-Team play will at least help - but I’m not fully optimistic based on the weird point system that doesn’t seem to follow any sane logic.

But when you need more then a month for grandmaster how’s this work? The ranked series will reset after a month… this mode is really dissapointing. And sorry for my bad english, i’m swiss 
You dont start over - when you re-qualify you start were you left off.
Did you really expected to be top tier in 1 month?
Again yesterday I got within 100 points of league 8, then fell all the way back to league 10. I cant even explain how lopsided the teams were. Then people from the other side started quitting. Once its 4v6 or 3v5 you have ZERO chance of winning. You’d need to get the top 3 spots if you have the bigger team to ensure a win. So yes I lost 200+ points yesterday. I was winning races but my team did nothing for me. Free 4 all cant get here soon enough
