Thats pretty cool if it is a VIP gift, cause I would never even consider buying one in game myself, but as a gift, I would at least be obligated to have a play with it and see what its like
I got it. Aaaaand you should have one. All you Americans out there, the Fiesta ST might look hilariously puny and unimportant, but it’s one of the greatest hot hatches of all time IMO. A future classic. In real life it’s an absolute laugh a minute to drive, I had a go in one and you cannot keep the grin from plastering over your face. A true driver’s car.
Agreed - a work colleague of mine has one with a Mountune engine upgrade, and it’s an abosultely great wee car. I love STs - I’m on my third (a Focus, after a Mondeo ST24 and a Mondeo ST220), and every one has been a joy to own and drive. Ford just seem to have the formula for what makes a good European road car bang-on.
The ST220 was the best car I’ve ever owned - I kept it for six years, because there was nothing else I wanted to replace it. The 3 litre V6 was just a great engine. I only got rid of it because there was tin-rot making an appearance on three different places on the car, and the clutch was starting to let go as well. I now regret not just sinking the money into keeping it going!
I had an ST225. Amazing 5 cylinder engine, brilliant chassis, superb comfort. I know a friend with a 10 year old immaculate ST220 estate in the gorgeous performance blue. It’s a fantastic car. Best looking estate, best driving (you virtually forget totally you are in an estate til you look in the mirror and see a cavernous interior behind you! lol)
The Americans get a version but it’s not quite the same, a useful 5 door however. They never got the 5 cylinder Focus ST/RS though, and that was a gem of a hot hatch too. Luckily they can drive said RS on Forza 6. They will get the 2016 Focus RS though, which looks an extremely serious bit of kit- I EXPECT that to be in one of the DLC packs I bought. Ya hear me T10??
Yes really. Race one on a track as I did, and see if you still knock the car then.
As part of Fords Ecoboost event I got invited to, I got to drive it just before it was sold to the public. And I will say this, it is a total treat to drive.
I already had a Fiesta ST with my white and blue racing stripes livery on it, but I never pass up a gift car. I’ll be upgrading this one next time I play.
Ignore Swerve. He doesn’t understand that different default settings within a dif change its ability for speed. No point in arguing with him. It’s pointless. The Fiesta is not glitched!
