I am working on a rear wheel drive rally/drift build, and was wondering if rally or race tires would be better, since I still want the car to be driftable and drivable on road too. I am just looking for a balance between off-road and on road handling, and driftability, plus being able to be decently drivable.
I’ve been having decent success on lower class of getting traction points needed with the SI tires vs Race tires. Really depends on your driving style. It’s about a .2 loss in traction, and .4-.6 in braking, depending on trans and power.
