Wondering if there is a list of car categories, trying to figure out what qualifies rally day heroes? If there is a list, could you direct me to it? I tried a search but was unsuccessful.

I filtered incorrectly the first time. Here are the Rally Day Heroes eligible in Stories of Motorsport:
…and all the Lancer Evos and WRX STIs…unless I completely missed somewhere that the OP didn’t want a Mitsubishi or Subaru.

I was going to say I don’t remember the Rally Day Heroes events being so limited.
I’ve been finding it a bit of a pain trying to figure out what cars are eligible for events. Easiest way I’ve found is to go into the event and hit “rent”. You can see what’s available and quit out if you want to buy . I don’t know if this works for all series/events as I’ve had suitable cars for many of them anyway.

Dadiodude, I usually try the renting trick, but It shows no rentals available when going in this weeks league race.
Feedback taken. In the mean time you can start a private match → go to game options → Advanced and switch the Division to whichever division you want to look at. From there you can go into buy car or wherever. But a car list seems helpful and took the note.
Edit* I should answer the Rental question. The reason they don’t show up for some leagues is that we bump the class in some cases to make it more interesting and a little twist from career. Since rentals can’t be upgraded, there won’t be any valid ones in the list that are “B” class. Hope that helps.

Maybe when someone looks at restrictions, then they could click another button for the full list of eligible cars? Would it really be that difficult to implement?
There’s just so many things about this game that have me shaking my head saying “didn’t any of the devs think about this?..or…Did they test this at all?”

I just use this. Options on the left side of the page let you show car lists by division.
Is there any way we could get a list of eligible cars for the league events BEFORE the league starts each week? I’d love to be able to tune the cars and have them ready before the event begins.
Whats the point of naming the cars (Rally day Heros) if there isn’t a tab for which to search for them? Don’t get me wrong forza 6 is light years better than 5 but there are so many features that have been in past games and are missing from 6, that make me wonder what someone was thinking not including .
I find it ironic the 205 is pretty much the worst handling and just worst car on the list in Forza 6 for this when it was pretty much the best rally car amongst them all there, in terms of success and titles and outright speed. Group B and Dakar.
Let’s be honest the quattro might have more legendary status but the Peugeot basically destroyed it for the most part at the pinnacle of Group B. It was a vastly more advanced car when it arrived on the scene.
You’re talking of course about the race prepared versions. What we have in FM are the street versions prepared for homologation. They were all sold in very modest tune states compared to the team cars.
Elso we don’t have the evolution versions in the game either, just the base spec versions.
I do love Group B in all its forms, especially the still born sports car class because of the cars that were born from that.
Anyway, there are a lot of Group B cars in this game that could allow for a Division of its own. If not two even.
I was a bit disapointed by the limited choice of cars in this League. And only found this list today so I ended up tuning many cars to try and compete in with no luck including proper Rally Royalty cars like.
Toyota Celica GT4 st 185 and 205.
Lancia Delta.
Lancia Stratos.
Lancia 037.
All the Ford Escort RS models.
And a few more.
I dont understand why these cars and many other Rally cars were not allowed to compete and this made it a bit bland for me racing against a field made up of mainly Evo’s or Impreza’s,
On the plus side at least I have nice range of B class cars now for different events.
